Gunwook sat still, finally finding the need to not sleep anymore because he became focused on staring at the new guy who seemed to fit in perfectly already.
Gunwook sighed. He couldn't say he didn't feel jealous of him. Because in a matter of a few minutes, he made more friends than Gunwook probably could in his lifetime.
And that was when he was brought out of his thoughts.
"Gunwook?" He heard his homeroom teacher say.
"Yes Sir?" Gunwook replied immediately when he realised he had been spacing out.
"It's your turn" The teacher said which made Gunwook confused.
He looked around, not wanting to ask the teacher what the hell he had to do. And that was when he saw someone in the corner of his eyes.
It was Ricky who was mouthing for Gunwook to introduce himself.
So, he did as Ricky said.
"Hi, I'm Park Gunwook" He said and sat down immediately after, his face was red from embarrassment. And then he heard them, again. Those same people gossiping about his grades were talking.
"See, I told you, how is he even the top student when he did whatever he just did" The Student snickered.
"He's so embarrassing" The other one said.
Gunwook sighed hearing them going on and on about him, about the things he couldn't even control.
And then he heard another voice.
"Can you two shut the fuck up" He heard an unfamiliar voice and pricked his head up to see it was again, Ricky.
Gunwook now smiled slightly.
"Are things finally changing?"
