The day went on with not much happening. It was like the same as every other day except that for once Gunwook finally had someone to come to his defence and he was more than happy about it.
And finally, it was time to go home.
Gunwook slowly packed his things as an excuse for not wanting to go home with the rest of the students. He found it embarrassing that he didn't have any friends to go home with.
As he was doing that, he suddenly felt a hand tapping on his shoulders. He turned back around to see that yet again, it was Ricky.
"Hello" Ricky said. "It's nice to meet you".
Gunwook flashed a small smile before speaking.
"You too, I'm Gunwook" He said.
"I was wondering if you'd like to go home with me, I heard from Matthew and seems like you live right next to me" Ricky said, smiling.
Gunwook smiled awkwardly, not knowing what to say or do.
Ricky must've noticed and chuckled.
"It's okay if you don't want to, I was just asking, and again, if you don't mind, could you show me around?" He said.
Gunwook finally loosens up after hearing Ricky laugh.
"Okay sure" Gunwook smiled. "Yes to both"
"Thank you so much" Ricky said. "We can go when you're ready".
And with that, Gunwook packed up quicker than he ever did so.

Gunwook and Ricky were laughing and chatting while they exited the school gates. Both of them feeling comfortable with each other.
And that was went Gunwook heard a car beeping at them. He immediately looked up and saw a woman smiling fondly at them.
Gunwook turned to Ricky and whispered in his ear.
"Do you know her?" He asked him.
"Of course" Ricky replied. " She's my mother".
Gunwook was a little surprised and turned back around. He saw that the car was quite fancy.
"That's a nice car" He complimented whilst they walked to the car. Ricky smiled.
"Thank you" He said.
When the reached the car, Ricky stopped and opened the door. He stepped aside and looked at Gunwook.
"You first" He said to which Gunwook smiled and entered the car, shortly followed by Ricky.
"Nice to meet you dear, what's your name?" Ricky's mother asked as she started driving.
"I'm Park Gunwook" He said as Ricky's mom smiled at him.
"Honey, how was school?" He asked Ricky.
"It was great, mainly because I met Gunwook today" He said as he smiled at Gunwook who quickly became flustered at the latter's comment.
Ricky's mother chuckled.
"That's great honey" She said.
The rest of the car ride was mostly quiet with Ricky and Gunwook chatting from time to time. The distance from the school to their neighborhood was quite hectic. Gunwook used to just take the bus but he was definitely grateful that he now had Ricky.
After a while, they reached their destination.
"Oh, Gunwook, do you live here?" Ricky's mom asked when Gunwook got out of the car.
"Yes, ma'am" Gunwook answered.
"Call me Aunt Shen, Gunwook" Ricky's mom said, smiling.
"Okay, I'll go in now, Ricky, don't come home late" She said as she drove inside the gate.
"Well, see you tomorrow, wookie" Ricky said. "Goodnight" He waved.
Gunwook smiled and waved at him.

Gunwook stepped inside his house finally feeling happy after a school day.
Gunwook's mom didn't fail to notice and smiled.
"What happened today hun?" She asked.
"I met... someone" He said.
"FINALLY, you found someone, I'm so happy for you, love" She said and hugged him tight.
"Mom, I can't barely breathe, you know"
"Okay fine, go and sleep honey"
