The sound of snow trumpets began to play as Hope opened the bedroom window. She gazed out expectantly, wondering whether or not there would be heavy snow tomorrow.
"Dear God, please let the snow turn a lot," Hope whispered to herself.
"Hope, are you ready to go?" came her mother's voice at the door.
"Yes, mom!" replied Hope excitedly.
She had been waiting for winter all year just to feel the rumble of snow on the soles of her feet. And today, she was ready to go play in the snow with her best friends.
Hope came down the stairs in a hurry, even though she hadn't had time to eat breakfast. However, as soon as she opened the front door, she was immediately disappointed. Instead of snow falling on her, the air was cold and dark.
"Why hasn't it stopped snowing?" complained Hope in a disappointed tone.
"I don't know Hope, the weather is unpredictable," her mother replied as she gently brushed her daughter's hair.
With no other choice, Hope and her friends went to the park to play in the snow, even though there was only a little snow falling. They could still carve little snowmen and roll in the snow.
"But why isn't there much snow?" Hope asked Kevin, one of her friends.
"Maybe this dinging season is a bit strange," Kevin said.
It was getting dark and they decided to head home. Hope looked up at the sky, disappointed that her hopes for a winter filled with heavy snow had not been realized.
"It has to snow a lot tomorrow," she muttered as she returned home.
The next morning, Hope was awakened by a very strong rumbling sound. She ran to the window and was surprised to see that snow had fallen to cover the entire house.
"Oh my God, thank you!" exclaimed Hope as she went out into the garden.
She played in the snow all day with her friends, losing track of time. It was eight o'clock in the evening and it was getting dark. Hope prepared to go home, but when she got home something terrible happened.
The ground began to shake. Everything was shaking, and there was a great cracking sound, tearing the ground apart. As she ran out of the house, Hope saw a terrible sight. The earth was undulating, the water in the river was freezing rapidly and the sky was turning bright red.
"What's going on!" screamed Hope.
Meanwhile, the cracking sound continued and emitted a powerful explosion sound. As Hope fell due to the shock, she suddenly felt her body being thrown very far away and finally she fainted.
When she opened her eyes, she was shocked to see a sight she had never seen before. She was lying on a vast expanse of ice, covered in a thick layer of snow, and around her was the scene of a world trapped in the ice age.
"Where am I?" Hope asked herself.
She felt scared and confused and didn't know what to do. She searched for a way to return to her world, but all her efforts were in vain. Days, weeks, and years passed, but nothing brought Hope back to her world.
Let alone a winter full of snow, her world didn't even have a bit of light shining. There was only ice and snow, and Hope was trapped in that frozen world alone.
Time passed and eventually, Hope gave up trying to survive in this frozen world. She built her tent and found a source of water and food to survive. Over a long period, Hope began to feel comfortable living there, and she even began to find entertainment in exploring this world and exploring the beauty of polar nature.
