Cece wanted to know everything, but some things had to be kept a secret.
“So yuh agree fi deh wid him?”she asked for the fifth time.
Yuh deaf or yuh no understand English...yes
“Yessss...mi know she unuh would a talk back,” she cheered.
“Aye shhh...mi no wah nobody know fi now,” I said calming her down.
“Yuh plan fi go a grand market? ”she asked scrambling some eggs.
“Most likely,” I replied.
“Okay...yuh know all this lovey dovey thing cute an stuff but when Leo find out him a go mad,”she said taking the bread from the cupboard.
She made two sandwiches and two cups of tea,one for me one for her.
Mi know...but e really cyah to nothing bout e...a who yuh love
“Cyah wrong yuh fi dah one deh,” she said sipping the tea.

She dropped me off at my place and God I needed sleep.
“Oh my gosh...the loner is back,”said Leo sitting in the living room.
“Go to hell Leo...this is not the morning,”I said as I went upstairs and flopped unto my bed.
Oh,it felt so good and almost immediately I felt myself dozing off.

I woke up around 2:30, there was two messages from Geo.
Hi beautiful.
U good?
Hi. I replied.
Cyah wait fi see yuh
I was confused. When?
Oh yuh father neva tell yuh yet😶
E invite fimi fam fi Christmas dinner
Oh okay.
We continued texting until Geo had to go help his mom with something.
I really hated the fact that I wouldn't be able to see him until next week Tuesday, but a just life.

Shay Finally Returns to work

Mi no know why but mi feel happy seh mi a work again, fi stay hone so long did just boring.
I was called to Mr Jeremy's office and when I arrived I was shocked to see Aiden there.
“Ashley meet...”. “Aiden” I said finishing his sentence.
“You know each other?”he asked.
Yes sir...we very much do, I said drifting my gaze from him back to Mr Jeremy.
“Well that's splendid...Aiden right here will be assisting you to draw the design of the new courthouse that will be constructed in Kensington. The project is to be finished in time for new years Eve...so I think you'll have to use a bit of your Christmas break to finish it...I have all the information you need right here,” he said handing me a portfolio.
I quickly scanned through it and it was gonna be a lot of work,but not too much for me to need an assistant.
“Do you have any questions Ashley?”
No sir...I think I can finish it just in time
“Perfect...I knew I could depend on you...you may leave now,” he said and I left Aiden tagging along.
“Why yuh come work yah so...mi think seh yuh did seh yuh neva interested inna architecture,” I said as soon as I got back to my office.
“Guess mi neva see mi hidden potential... mi also did wah find wah way fi apologize to yuh,” he said sitting on the desk top.
Oh really...well yuh could a just call mi an tell mi not come interfere wid mi work
“Shay...yah go really need e help fi draw e court house an mi a yuh best drawing partner,”
Couldn't wrong him fi dat...back at utech we were the best duo there and even though I wish he didn't show up I knew he meant good.
Fine...but mi only a agree job wise
“Seriously Shay...cmon we cyah atleast be frens?”

We started off the blue print and by the time we were done with the layout including the breaks we took it was already 8:30 pm.
We had finished the main outline of the building,we would have gone a bit further if Aiden didn't mess up the measurements every 15 minutes.
My finger's were aching and I guess this was were we wrapped up for the day.
I rolled up the layout and grabbed my stuff.
There were a few cars out in the parking lot and after putting my stuff in the back seat off my car,I realised that Aiden was still here.
“Why yuh still deh yahso,”i asked.
“Mi just wah confirm seh we good an mi we leave,”
Why yuh so annoying, fine mi accept yuh apology
“Thank you...”
I shook my head and smiled and then went inside my car. I slowly backed out of the parking lot and drove off.
I pulled up into the driveway, noticing many boxes outside.
Leo was out front scratching his head.
“A wah dem sumn yah fah,” I asked.
“Mi would a ask yuh e same thing,” he replied.
I went inside the house and found dad in the living room unpacking some of the boxes.
Um...daddy weh all a dem sumn yah fah?
“Tomorrow a Christmas an mi invite some people fi Christmas dinner...so mi a fix up e place,”
“People like?” said Leo.
“Um Geo family...we cousin an yuh uncle, yuh cyah mek yuh fren dem come to,”he said looking at both of us.
Why yah do this? I asked feeling the suspicion rise.
“Ugh..fine mi kinda see wah omn weh mi like an mi invite har fi come a dinner...mi neva want unuh find out so mi invite some other people fi no mek e too obvious,”
“Wah omn?” repeated Leo.
“A seven years since yuh mother dead...Mi neva wah dweet but Sabrina just nice,”
Yuh nah fi go inna all a e details...we understand an we support yuh...right Leo, I said nudging him and he agreed.
“Alright then...if unuh cyah help mi carry in e rest a box dem inside me would a appreciate e,”
And so we spent the next thirty minutes bringing in Christmas decorations.

Mi did hungry as hell an mi did glad when daddy tell we seh e did lef food pon e counter fi we.
After eating I went upstairs took a shower and changed in my pj's then I checked my phone.
There was thirteen messages from Geo, five from Cece, two from Kelly and one from Aiden.
I decided to call Geo and we had a very long conversation about different things until I fell asleep.
