Location: New York City, Apartment Building/Room
A door opens and in steps Danny Brackett. He has gotten home from work and is quite tired. Just then, his phone rings and without checking the number, he answers.
Danny: Hello?
Sam's voice responds.
Sam: Hey babe! How was work?
Danny: Ha, you know same as always. But today my boss was kicking my ass more than usual though.
Sam: Hmm been there before.
Danny: Right. So, you thinking about coming over later, I can make that lasagna you were craving.
Sam: Yeah that's sounds good, but hey Danny.
Danny: What is it Sam?
Sam: What if I'm already there?
Danny looks on, a look of confusion arises on his face.
Danny: What? What are you talking about Sam?
Sam: You know. What if I'm already waiting in your bedroom.
Danny: I think I know where this is going.
Sam: Do you Danny?
Danny walks over to his bedroom, opens it and finds nothing. No trace of Sam at all.
Danny: Okay Sam come on. I didn't think you'd like to play around like this. Not after what happened.
Sam: After what Danny?
Danny: You know, those fucking lunatics that tried to kill you and Tara.
In that moment the voice on the phone changes from that of Sam to Ghostface!
Ghostface: Lunatics. Like me Danny?
Danny: No.
Ghostface: Yes.
Danny: No! What have you done with Sam?
Ghostface: Nothing yet Danny. It's you that I want right now.
Danny: So, come for me bitch! I'd like to see you try.
Ghostface: You're quite the brave one aren't you Danny?
Danny: Yeah, and I betcha I'm more braver than you'll ever be you fuck! Show yourself.
Danny grabs a nearby kitchen knife in defense.
Ghostface: Oh Danny. Don't go hurting my feelings now.
Danny: Yeah well fuck your feelings!
Danny: How did you even get my baby's voice anyway huh!?
Ghostface: The wonders of AI, am I right?
Ghostface: Tell you what Danny, if you can find me within the next minute, I won't kill Sam or the others. How does that sound?
Danny: How do I know you aren't lying!?
Danny then hears a crash in his apartment! Danny investigates and finds a broken picture frame on the ground.
Danny: Show yourself asshole!
Ghostface: Your wish is my command.
Just then, a Ghostface lunges out of the bedroom and into the hall! Ghostface attacks Danny, making him drop his phone. Danny attempts to fight back but struggles doing so. Danny wrestles with Ghostface's to retrieve their knife but ends up getting cut instead. Danny pushes Ghostface off himself and attempts to run to the front door. Ghostface catches up and stabs Danny in the upper right shoulder. Danny screams and turns around to punch Ghostface. He misses. Danny then runs and flips his coffee table towards Ghostface, stunning them momentarily. Danny is then chased by Ghostface down the hall and into his bedroom. Before Danny can even close the door, Ghostface barges in making Danny drop his knife! Ghostface tackles Danny onto his bed and stabs him in his side. Danny tries to fight back without much use. Ghostface then stabs Danny in the stomach and upper left chest. Then Danny is stabbed in the arm and turned over by Ghostface.
Ghostface: Never did I ever say that I wasn't going to kill you Danny!
Ghostface raises their knife and brings it down on Danny one last time.
