Subaru was like a wandering ghost in the dark forest. Every step he took seemed to stoke the fire within him, trailing the shadows of the past. His name had been forgotten, once a hero honored by hundreds, now dancing in solitude.

Despite saving the city of Priestella, the Archbishop of Gluttony was determined to erase his existence. People had forgotten his name, erased it from their memories. The architect of the city's salvation had gradually vanished into dusty shelves of recollections, a hero of grand victories now lost in silence.

The fire within Subaru, however much it advanced, refused to die out. The person once honored had seemingly vanished. Tied by the chains of his own past, his name obliterated, he was now alone even among friends. With melancholic eyes, he looked around, seeking the slightest trace of his former existence, but found only silence.

He continued to run, always trying to stay one step ahead. He feared being found by people because those he had once saved had now turned their backs on him, turning friendships into betrayal. Yet, he had wanted to be remembered for his loving past, but now his name was cursed, labeled guilty.

Gasping for breath, his feet trembling from exhaustion, he collapsed. Tears streamed down his face, reflecting an inner storm. The sense of abandonment had become a bitter reality. Coping with this loneliness had become difficult. As tears wet his face, the deep crack in his heart widened. In the forest, a silence steeped in despair prevailed.

"Why?" he murmured, as he had done everything right. He couldn't believe his friends could be this cruel. Even if they didn't remember him, accusing someone without solid proof shocked him deeply.

The sacrifices and loving aid he had given in the past were now losing their meaning. People's trust and gratitude had vanished due to a few accusations and doubts. While burdened with unjust accusations, he felt justice had been replaced by tyranny. This painful reality was causing an even deeper wound in his heart.

As he collapsed, it felt like his entire being had shattered. He felt a deep rift within, his soul shattered. The pain was not just burning his body but also his soul. In that moment, he was like on the edge of a dark abyss; the feeling of helplessness gnawed at him, shaking every cell of his existence.

His blood seemed to boil, his whole body writhing in the grip of pain. His muscles trembled as if they might tear at any moment. His bones ached under a weight. This pain wasn't just physical torment; it intoxicated his entire being like a cry from the depths of his soul.

As the pain began pushing the limits of his body, he felt something changing inside him, a transformation under his flesh. His bones broke, coming together, dragging him into a profound helplessness. His blood seemed to boil, heating his body, every drop burning like fire.

He clenched his teeth, trying to alleviate the pain to no avail. The pain intensified, almost tearing him apart with each effort. His teeth cracked, and along with the physical change in his body, chaos began in his mind. His brain was burning in agony. This horrifying experience was shattering his mind because he struggled to understand what was happening. He was being dragged into an unknown dark journey by this terrifying experience.

The surrounding darkness had turned into both physical and mental collapse for him. While a scream echoed in his mind, thousands of voices, filled with anger and hatred, attacked him in the darkness.

"Monster!"

"Devil!"

"Die!"

Each word echoed through his body, tearing apart his soul. The anger in these voices further fueled his inner fire. And this anger felt infinite. Every word aroused even more pain in the depths of his darkness.

The darkness in his mind became increasingly suffocating with hateful words. These voices deepened the hopelessness within him, and his body and soul were struggling in the clutches of this anger. Faced with this irresistible wave of anger, he was in a state of not knowing what to do or how to stop it.

The anger rising within Subaru screamed like a storm. "Shut your mouths!" he yelled, waves of anger echoing in his chest, pounding his heart rapidly. His mind was undergoing a strange transformation, as if his soul inside was growing, expanding.

"WHO ARE YOU TO OVERCOME ME, INSECTS!" he shouted, his voice striking the darkness like a storm. These words seemed to shatter the darkness like lightning; with the rise of anger, the darkness within him weakened.

This change within Subaru was adding a new strength to his soul. Anger was displaying a strong resistance against the darkness within him. Now, in the light of anger, he was being illuminated with an inner strength.

Subaru slowly opened his eyes and found himself in a scene where the sun was at its zenith. He stood up, but he felt a strangeness under his feet, as if standing on an elevation.

When he looked at his hands, he noticed the change. His hands were larger, wrists thicker. His nails were long, black, and incredibly distinct. He was bewildered by this sudden change. "What's happening?" he exclaimed, took a step back in shock, and finally fell to the ground.

He got up and looked around, but everything seemed the same. However, this sudden change in his own body had deeply shaken him. Lost in worry, he delved into thoughts. While trying to understand why and how this unexpected transformation occurred, his feelings of fear and astonishment were increasing.

Subaru found a lake after running for a while and looked at his reflection in the water. He thought with astonishment as he saw the scene reflected, "This must be a joke."

He had grown taller, much taller than Roswaal, and his muscles had become more defined. His clothes were torn, leaving him

almost naked.

This unexpected transformation had profoundly shaken him. Drowned in concern, he delved into his thoughts. The fear and bewilderment within him intensified as he attempted to comprehend why and how this unexpected transformation occurred.

After running for a while, Subaru found a lake and looked at his reflection in the water. Confronted with the sight, he sighed in astonishment, "This must be a joke."

He had grown taller, much taller than Roswaal, and his muscles had become more defined. His clothes were torn, leaving him almost naked.

The most surprising detail was the extra pair of arms he seemed to have. He couldn't understand how he hadn't noticed while running. His face looked a bit older and more mature, but his hair remained the same.

Most notably, there were additional eyes just below his current eyes. Faced with these sudden changes, Subaru was in a state of great astonishment, both physically and mentally. As he gazed at his reflection, he struggled to comprehend the significance of these changes and make sense of what was happening. This strange situation loomed over him as a big question mark.

"I'll live," he murmured. Determined to live regardless of the changes. He missed his old friends and loved ones, yet he wanted to live.

As he stood up, he felt the changes in his body. Apart from the strange sensation on his face, there was something else. His body felt hard and powerful like stone.

Subaru noticed black tattoo-like marks on his arms, spreading from his arms and covering his body, finally reaching tattoo-shaped marks on his face.

He smiled brokenly, "Beautiful," he murmured. His mind was somewhat off-kilter; he could almost go mad with just a touch. However, despite these unexpected changes, he still smiled."
