First meeting ( Tejo's Pov)

Tejo and Agastya left their clinic.

AGASTYA : Yaar this rain is not stopping at all . I don't think it is safe to drive home
Let's wait till it stops .

TEJO : Agastya I assure you I will reach home safely. I have to go early today .

AGASTYA : I can't win against you at all . Just let me know when reach home . Drive safely, please don't get lost in your thoughts.
TEJO : Yaar what's up with you. Why are you repeating the same thing again and again. She starts to hyperventilate .

AGASTYA: Tejo calm down calm down.
I know why are you reacting this way.
Just be safe ok !

He starts to cup her face getting lost in her eyes . He hated to see the pain in her eyes . He fisted his hands when he remembered  the reason behind it .
He just prayed her pain ends soon and left.

TEJO smiled at him kindly and started her car .
When getting back to her home she saw a new billboard of Fateh for a perfume ad .

Flashback starts..
15th July 2019
It was raining heavily that day
TEJO was tapping her nails on her laptop and file waiting for the cars to move as she was stuck in the traffic for 1 hour .

She called her best friend to calm her mind .
TEJO: Agastya I am feeling scared already
Today is very important but I am getting too late . What if they start the ceremony without me
AGASTYA: Arey how could they do that . You are the reason behind that technology and the process. That's your idea na . You will be the one explaining everything.

TEJO: That's the problem know . What will they do without me ? I m fired if I don't go on time
AGASTYA: Chill Karo . If you are stuck in traffic they will be too . Don't worry

Right behind her car was Fateh and Elahi  . They were attending the same hospital wing inauguration ceremony.

Slowly the cars started moving but TEJO was looking at a injured dog walking by the sidewalk . She asked the driver to stop the car.
She suddenly heard horn sounds from behind .

FATEH: Oye !! The cars are moving.Can't you see ??
TEJO got irritated and got out of the car with kit .
TEJO: I know! But I have to treat this dog
FATEH : Haha So it was Mother India  I was talking to.
TEJO's clothes starting to get wet and unfortunately she was wearing white kurta so she was just praying that it wasn't transparent.

ELAHI: Fateh we are getting late . The other cars are moving na , let's go that way . Leave her
FATEH: Yeah yeah Let's go now ..
Bye bye Mother !!
TEJO was so irritated by all this but she continued to dress that wounded dog apologised to other people who waited behind .

At the hospital
RAJESH: Yaar where is Tejo . Why she hasn't arrived yet . She is always punctual. What happened today
GURPREET: I have already told you , don't trust her but when do you hear me
She is planning to defame you

RAJESH: Arey Shutup ya . Don't talk nonsense. You know na she is not only my employee she is like a daughter to me
GURPREET: You will get your reality check soon

FATEH: Hi dad !!!! Hi mom !!
GURPREET: My son ! Now the event is looking bright.
RAJESH got irritated seeing Elahi
Why is she here ? Fateh ??
FATEH: What do you mean? She is my coactor, friend and most importantly we are the talk of the town couples so we will give the much needed hype to this event

RAJESH: Are you mad or what . This is not a party . Just forget it . Where is Tejo
FATEH: Haan where is that Tejo . I want to meet her too . The way you praise your new employee all day and night. I want to see her talent
GURPREET: Arey koi talent nahi hai . It's just that she is the step daughter of your dad's loyal ex secretary Mr Hitesh Sandhu . So soft corner hai bas

FATEH: Achhaaaaa
ELAHI: Namaste uncle and aunty
GURPREET: Namaste beta and how pretty are you !!
ELAHI : But your son doesn't find me pretty, he called me makeup ke dukaan
RAJESH just left from there with Fateh
RAJESH: There is already so much dating rumours around you guys . What was the need to bring her . Now media will confirm it .
FATEH: Arey dad chill !

TEJO arrived at the event.
RAJESH: Tejooo ! You are here !
He welcomed her with a bright smile
Fateh was stunned to see her . She was the same girl he was shouting at.
Oh she is a doctor ! I see !
TEJO: I am so so sorry sir . I was stuck in the traffic and there was a injured dog and I ... I...
RAJESH: Arey koi baat nahi just freshen up the ceremony is about to start
FATEH : Hello Madam .
TEJO recognised that voice . She was stunned to see him
He was so handsome, tall and looked like a Greek god .
FATEH: I know I am looking like a dapper . But just look at you . Your clothes are dirty . You hair is messed up . You are gonna give the speech like this ??
RAJESH: Arey Tejo . Don't hear his rude talks . You just be ready to give the speech Okay ?

TEJO was hurt by Fateh's  words .
ELAHI was passing by ...
FATEH pulled her hand and said look at this girl
She is dressed for the ceremony. Her make-up, hairstyle everything is on point
She should be the one at your place . But never mind
TEJO started to move away and entered the washroom
She started having tears in her eyes .
Why that guy's comments affected her . It's not like she was asking for a validation for her beauty.
She is a surgeon and she doesn't dress up much and like to keep it simple.
She just quickly washed her face and cleaned up her dress and dried her hair and went outside

The inauguration ceremony started .
And everyone were keenly listening at her words .
Though Fateh didn't understand what she was talking about but was admiring her sincerity in the speech .
ELAHI: Fateh it's too boring . Let's give a byte to Media what do you say ?
FATEH: Chalo theek hai . Let's go
They both stood up in the middle of her speech and left
TEJO was feeling nervous. Is she boring ?
That they left .
She quickly wrapped up the speech and thanked everyone.
TEJO: I specially thank Rajesh sir for having faith in a new employee and encouraged me to come up with this idea.
Media started questioning her regarding her work and Rajesh felt left out . No one asked him anything.

GURPREET: See ! I told you na . She is taking all the credit. But who invested in her so called idea ?
RAJESH doesn't like when people ignore him . So he quickly asked the media to end the session.
TEJO : Thank you sir . Without you this is not possible.
RAJESH: I know Tejo , God bless you.
He suddenly saw Fateh and Elahi posing for media and he got so irritated seeing it
He thought in his mind I would never let a TV actress to be my Daughter in law no matter what .
RAJESH: Tejo it's too late. I will ask Fateh to drop you .
TEJO : No no uncle it's totally fine .
He quickly held her hand and went to Fateh and elahi who were about to get into their car.
RAJESH: Fateh drop her too .
FATEH: What the hell dad .
RAJESH: Behave!! Media is watching..
FATEH gritted his teeth. 
The media were so curious. Who is she they were murmuring.
Fateh got irritated and started the car .
RAJESH: Kuch bhi ho jaye .. Ye elahi tho meri Bahu nahi banegi .
I want a smart , homely girl as my daughter in law who will never ruin my family 's reputation. And I am totally impressed with this girl Tejo .
I will make a decision soon .
