The night continues

Tejo was sitting uncomfortably in the backseat of the car .
She didn't know what to do.
Tejo( in her mind) : Should I speak to them , Am I bothering their privacy?

Elahi cut her thoughts.
ELAHI: So TEJO you are a surgeon?
TEJO: Yes . Junior surgeon.
ELAHI: You work in uncle's hospital? Fateh has never told me about you at all.
FATEH : Arey I don't know her as well . Today is the first time I have seen her face LOL ..She is not that famous .
TEJO: Ofcourse I am not . I have just completed my studies and joined uncle's hospital.
ELAHI: Why are u calling him uncle LOL
He is your boss .
TEJO: I know...
But I know Rajesh sir from my childhood.
He was my dad's boss but treated as family only .
Whenever he used to visit our home , he used to encourage me a lot
FATEH: Okay okay fine.
We are not interested in your boring story just tell me where to drop you.

TEJO: Give me your number. I'll send it in WhatsApp.
ELAHI : Woah woah !! Nice technique to ask a handsome guy's number though
TEJO : You know what you do one thing. Just drop me here .
I agreed to sit in your car just because of uncle . And I can't say no to him .
But if I am bothering you guys , please drop me here . I'll catch a cab .

FATEH: Oh mam why are you getting hyper ?? She was just joking? Aren't you used to this type of jokes ? Wierd !!
Just tell me the location.
ELAHI : Yaar Fateh , she is saying na ..
Just drop her here . I am getting late too
We have early morning shoot remember??
TEJO : Yeah please drop me here . I'll tell uncle that you dropped at my home . Don't worry .
FATEH: It's not safe to stand here alone waiting for cab .It's too dark
TEJO: Thanks for the concern. But I really don't want to bother you guys .
Fateh stopped the car unwillingly .

TEJO: Thank you Fateh and Elahi. Good night !!
She started scrolling her phone to book cab.
Fateh was looking at her with concern.
ELAHI got irritated.
ELAHI: Fateh !!! Start the car na. It's getting late .
FATEH: Yeah yeah .

Then he started to drive back to her home .
Tejo pretended to be all good in front of them but she really was getting scared of the darkness.
She thought atleast she should have asked them to drop her in main road.
She mentally slapped herself.
She suddenly saw a big poster of Junooniyatt where Fateh and Elahi were doing a romantic pose
TEJO: They actually look so good together man . No wonder the media goes gaga over them .

Fateh was not able to concentrate on driving.
He thought it's not good to leave a girl like that alone on a platform at 11pm like that . But he couldn't say anything.
He don't know why ..
He was so lost in his thoughts.
Suddenly he took a U- Turn and drove back to the same place he dropped her.

ELAHI: Hey Are you mad ? Why are you driving back ?
He couldn't hear anything at all . He was just praying that she is safe .
He was driving there at full speed .
Meanwhile Tejo couldn't find any cabs .
And no cabs were nearby her .
There were group of men heading towards her . She got really scared .

At the same time coincidentally Agastya came in his car and saw Tejo there .
AGASTYA: Tejo!! What the hell are you doing here ?
Tejo got startled for a second but recognised his voice.
Tears started filling her eyes .
TEJO : Agastya!!!!Thank God you are here . I was so scared ..

Fateh from a distance saw the men coming to her and a car approaching her .
He thought someone is bothering her.
He drove his car towards them and then stopped suddenly
ELAHI shouted : Fateh what the hell yaar
He got shocked seeing what happened next .

AGASTYA opened the door and went out and quickly wiped her tears and patted her head in assurance .
AGASTYA: Sshhh ! Bachaa I am here . Don't worry . Let's go home now
So why those men are running seeing you ? They got scared of your smudged kajal ?
TEJO : Oh shit ! Am I looking so bad ?
AGASTYA: Naah you are the most beautiful girl even when you are crying he wiped the last tear drop.
Let's go now !
They quickly left from there .

Fateh was gripping the steering wheel tightly. Elahi saw this and decided to tease him .
ELAHI: Ooohhh She has a boyfriend!!!

So You came back to see whether she is still there or not ?
FATEH quickly came back from his thoughts. He saw their poster there

I came back to see our poster . Just look at na it's so big . They have kept this one today only I guess.

ELAHI got excited and started clicking pictures of it .
ELAHI: Okay I'll just tag you on IG story . Our fans will go gaga seeing that .
FATEH got lost in his thoughts again.
Who is he ? Is he really her boyfriend?
Why am I curious to know her status?
Then she would have come with him to dad's event na..

FATEH: Elahi get inside the car now . Now you are not getting late ??
ELAHI: Fateh why are you asking so rudely yaar ? I am clicking pics for us only . We should be the no 1 jodi in gossip tv report next week . So we should hype our jodi and show well.
FATEH: Okay enough just get in .
Elahi sensed his bad mood and quickly sat inside .
Fateh looked at the same place one last time and drove the car.

Present day ..
Tejo came back from her thoughts again.
She looked at his poster now replaced his Junooniyatt poster .
TEJO: Why did you even came into my life ?? You left me here in the dark na
Even today I am engulfed in the same darkness .
Why did you meet me again after that day ???
Tears were dropping from her eyes , painfully looking at his poster.

Meanwhile
Fateh remembered a completely different rainy night which shattered everything completely. And he lost his most precious thing that night and till today he regretted his words and actions on that day .
What if none of it happened that day ..
May be we could have been together right now , he thought.
He smiled in pain seeing their wedding ring ..
What happened that night??
