The girls were walking through the park, going to the place where they were planning Ali's memorial. Valerie felt good, knowing she could do something to keep the memory of her best friend alive. Alison would've loved it, she thought. Things seemed to be going really well for Valerie right now. Her parents were happy, she met Kane, she was doing Alison's memorial. Everything was great, minus 'A'.

"How bad did your mom bust you over wrecking Sean's car?" Emily asked, the previous night Hanna and Sean got into a fight and Hanna had a mental breakdown and crashed his car.

"Okay, I did not wreck it; I damaged it." Hanna justified, "And actually everyone's being really mature about it."

"Oh." Emily muttered.

"There's no 'oh,' we're just being grown-ups, that's all." Hanna explained.

Aria changed the subject, "Okay, so the town is gonna put in a new bench, and we'll plant the flowerbeds, and there's gonna be a pathway of art tiles.

"Art tiles?" Spencer questioned.

"Messages, pictures, memories of Alison." Emily explained.

"Aw, like little headstones." Valerie joked, though her sister clearly wasn't amused by her sarcasm.

"Valerie!" She scolded.

"What?" Valerie shrugged.

"We should each do a tile." Emily suggested, changing the subject.

"You know, I have had Alison's bracelet since the day we found it in the woods, I don't want the responsibility anymore." Hanna snapped, pulling the bracelet out of her bag and holding it out for someone other than herself to take.

"I don't want it." Aria shrugged, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Seriously, somebody take this." Hanna demanded.

Spencer sighed, and snatched the bracelet from Hanna, "Look at us, a bunch of babies." Spencer said.

The girls all looked around at each other in silence before Spencer spoke up, "There is nothing that A can say or do to get us in trouble without making trouble for herself." Spencer voiced.

"Are you sure it's a her?" Hanna asked.

"Him, her– doesn't make any difference," Spencer said. She reached down into her bag, pulling out her laptop. She opened it and began typing something.

"What are you doing?" Valerie questioned, observing her friend cautiously.

"I'm gonna block all messages from people that I don't know." Spencer revealed, feeling confident, "IMS, emails, texts, everything." she added, "Screw A." she muttered.

"Wow, how did we not think of that before?" Valerie questioned, suddenly feeling idiotic.

Spencer finished typing and looked up with a smile, "Who's next?"

"Me, gladly." Valerie said, grabbing the laptop from Spencer, who was seated next to her on the bench. And with that Valerie logged into her account and blocked all unknown messages and calls.

"I spy my little eye something that begins with F." Spencer said seductively. Valerie looked up from the laptop and saw Mr. Fitz riding down the street on his bike.

"Hey Mr. Fitz," Hanna called out, sending him a little wave. He looked over and waved back to her.

"Looking good, Mr. Fitz!" Spencer yelled out, making Valerie shake her head and laugh.

"My turn," Aria muttered, snatching the laptop from her sister. Valerie looked over to her seemingly upset sister and put her hands up in defense.

"There are teachers that you don't wanna see on a bike, and there are teachers that you do wanna see on a bike." Spencer said, staring at Mr. Fitz. Valerie agreed, Mr. Fitz was definitely good looking, not exactly her type but still good looking.
