Leonardo walked back to his old room that he counterpart was in and saw him waking up from his little nap. He looked around hella confused.

"Hey sleeping beauty, how was your nap?" He asked his younger self

"Horny..." Leo mumbled

It took everything for Leonardo to not laugh, he had forgotten that he had absolutely no filter when he was exhausted.

"Besides that, you hungry?" He hinted

"Yeah." Leo got up from his bed and stretched

He stood there for a few moments until Leonardo started to guide him to the kitchen. He sat Leo down on a chair and backed away to call Mikey and Donnie.

"Hey, Mikey, Don can you two come in here for a moment?" He called them

He expected Donnie to say some sly remark but he came right away.

"What do you need?" Donnie asked noticing how his 'twin' was somewhat nodding off in the chair he was sitting in

"I need you to watch over younger me while I help Mikey make him something to eat. Just make sure he doesn't hit his head or something." Leonardo told him

Donnie nods and sits next to Leo, "How are you feeling?"

Leo muttered something uncomprehendable and leaned against Donnie.

"Uh, that's nice." Donnie said not knowing what he said

Leo was struggling to stay awake at this point, "I have like a huge crush on you, you know."

Donnie bushed it off as Leo still being under the influence of the weed he smoked earlier, "Really? So what do you like about me?"

"Everything. I can't choose one thing to like about you."

Donnie chuckled, "You even like my sarcasm and witty remarks?"

Leo nods, "Yeah... They add to your charm. You always have something to say and I like that about you."

Mikey looked at his brothers then looked at Leonardo, "Is he still high?"

"A little bit. From what I can tell his mostly still sleepy. Some food will wake him up." Leonardo told him, "But he's telling the truth."

"So he really does like D. I though he was joking."

Leonardo looked down at Mikey, "What do you mean by that?"

"Well me and Leo were playing two truths and a lie. In one round he said that he has a crush on Donnie. I thought he was lying." Mikey told him

"What were the other two he said?"

"Uh his favorite color is blue and that he likes strawberry ice cream."

Leonardo looked at Mikey, "He likes vanilla ice cream. Strawberry and chocolate ice cream is too sweet."

"I didn't know, but he went with it anyway." Mikey sighed, "I guess I hurt his feelings."

"Nope. Luckily Donnie wasn't playing the game cause that would've hurt his feelings." Leonardo said turning the burner off

They decided on warming up a can of store bought stew and few other small things. They sat down the food in front of Leo. He stared at the food for a moment before lazily eating. After a few moments he seemed more awake and alert.

Leonardo motioned for Donnie to come with him for a moment.

"You do know that everything Leo told you is true right?" He asked the genius

"Maybe. Leo is a prankster, half of the things he's says aren't true." Donnie waved it off dismissivly

Leonardo sighed, "Listen kid, I'm telling you this before you end up hurting him. Leo has a major crush on you, he loves you to death."

Donnie looked at Leo who was asking for seconds.

"Why me? Why not Raph, or Mikey, or even April?" Donnie asked him

Leonardo shrugged, "We can't help who or what our heart wants. And for us... That's you."

Donnie walked out of the kitchen and into his lab. He needed to wrap his head around everything that just happened.

The day started off normal, then Leo wanted to see if he can still summon portals without feeling sick or weak. He was successful alright and then Leonardo came through. He looked so disoriented and then collapsed. Now here he was telling Donnie that Leo has a crush on him.

They had already proved that they can change the future, but was he even sure if this was the one thing he wanted to change.

Raph peeked his head inside and saw Donnie sitting in his gaming chair with his knees pulled up to his chest.

"Are you overstimulated or understimulated?" Raph asked him gently

"Neither. I'm just thinking... Do you know if Leo has a crush on me or not?" Donnie looked at Raph

The snapping turtle nods, "He does and it's a really big crush. Like it's massive. Why do you think he's always around you?"

"I just through that he likes to be annoying." Donnie muttered, "I didn't know it was because he likes me."

"Well he does." Raph turned to leave, "You need anything before I go?"

Donnie shook his head, "No, I'm good."

Raph nods once more and then left the lab. Donnie placed his feet onto the cement floors and slightly shivered at how cold it was. He placed his head down onto the work bench that was also cold to the touch.

He didn't know how long he was laying there, but soon enough he felt someone standing next to them. Then they say down onto the workbench.

Donnie slightly lifted his head to see Leo sitting next to him, "You doing okay?"

"I'm fine, I just needed to get away for a while." He huffed and laid his head back down

"Talk to me D. What's up?" He smiled at the softshell

Donnie sat up quickly startling Leo, "You tell me! I'm finding out things about you that I never knew about! So you tell me, what's up with you!?"

Leo didn't even know what to say, he really didn't cause Donnie wasn't making any sense. He was just shouting and throwing around accusations.

"I'm genuinely confused." Leo told him, "I don't understand what's wrong."

Donnie looked at Leo for a while before he finally spoke, "Do you have a crush on me?"

Leo could feel his heart stop. He had to answer this was his one chance, he may never get another one. He could either tell the truth and risk losing the one good thing in his life or lie and keep everything the same and possibly ruin everything even more. Either way he was fucked.

He took a deep breath before answering the question.
