Leo looked at Donnie as he answered, Donnie always told him that to prove that he was telling the truth he had to look him in the eyes... Even if he knew that the truth was going to hurt.

"Donnie, I'm going to be completely honest with you. I'm deeply in love with you. I've been in love with you for about 2 years now. I thought I was making it obvious by always wanting to be by your side. Or even agreeing with you and your ideals even if they go against my own ideals and morals."

"Why didn't you say anything?!" Donnie demands sitting up and slamming his hands down into his workbench

"Because! Because you were dealing with other things and when I worked up enough courage to tell you... You were either busy or you didn't even want to look at me."

Donnie looked down at the floor, "God... I'm an awful person, aren't I?"

"What? No! I know how you are and how scary it is for you to form meaningful relationships with others. You have your own way of expressing your love and we have ours." Leo told him placing his hand on top of Donnie's clenched one

Donnie slowly unfurled his hands and looked at Leo, who looked at him with the most gentle and caring smile ever.

"Remember that one yokai that kept on making you uncomfortable and even touched you?" Leo asked him

Donnie frowned and pulled his hand away, "Why are you bringing that up?"

"Cause I wanted to let you know exactly why you haven't been seeing him around anymore."

"He's in jail, that's what you told me. You said that you called the Hidden City Police and got him arrested."

"I may have lied about that."

"What did you do?" Donnie demands crossing his arms across his chest

"Okay so I tracked him down and he was telling his buddies that he totally fucked you. Now I wasn't going to let that slide, so I chopped his buddies heads off and tortured the guy to death." Leo gave him a sheepish smile

"Damnit Leo!"

"What?! He made you cry and no one, and I do mean no one makes you cry." Leo told him getting off of the workbench and grabbing both of Donnie's hands, "I'm not allowed to make you cry either... Unless their tears of joy of course."

"I'm mad because I was planning on killing him."

Leo couldn't help but laugh. He rested his head against Donnie's, "See... This is why I love you. You don't have to love me now, or ever. Just know that my heart belongs to you."

Leo pulled away and started to leave the lab. Donnie shook his head and grabbed Leo before he could cross the threshold of no return.

"What-"

Leo was cut off by Donnie practically slamming his beak into Leo's. It was uncoordinated and a bit sloppy, but hey it was their first kiss. They shared their very first kiss with each other.

Just outside of the lab Leonardo was standing there listening to the two. When he didn't hear anything he peeked his head around the corner and saw the two of them kissing. He smiled to himself and walked away making a mental note to remind Donnie to close the lab door next time.

"Way to go younger me." Leonardo mutters as he made his way to the living room

He sat down on the couch and sighed feeling his joints relax.

"Where's Leo and Don?" He heard Raph ask

"Why?" He looked behind himself to see the snapping turtle

"I haven't seen them in a while. I just want to know if they're okay." He pressed his fingers together

"Yeah, they're fine. I heard them talking in the lab, I wouldn't interrupt them though. They need to work out their feelings." Leonardo tells him

Mikey runs into the living room with his sketchpad, color pencils, his phone, and headphones.

"Someone is feeling creative again." Leonardo chuckles

Mikey nods, "He told me to draw a blueprint for your new arm."

He laughs, "Wouldn't it be like my old one. I don't want anything too fancy. I just want it to match."

Mikey frowns, "It will, but it will have extra features."

"Nice." He smiles at Mikey, "I want it to he a surprise so don't show me anything when you finish."

Mikey gave him a thumbs up and gets started. Raph took a seat on the floor sitting next to Leonardo.

"So... Did you find them or did you just stand behind me listening to me and Mikey talk about art?" He asked even though he knew the answer

"I found them. I know Donnie isn't about physical affection, but he must've been very understimulated."

"What makes you say that big guy?"

"Leo was sitting in Donnie's gaming chair which we all know that Donnie doesn't let us do. But also Donnie was cuddling with Leo, he was practically attached to him like a koala." Raph explained

Leonardo gave him a soft smile, "Sounds about right."

"What do you mean?" Raph asked him

"Back in my timeline, before he died. Donnie would just run up to me and wrap his arms and legs around me. He would hang onto me for hours. I cherished every moment of it."

Raph looked down at his lap, "Sorry."

Leonardo looked at him, "Why are you apologizing? You've done nothing wrong Raph."

"Seeing all of us here... Seeing Donnie. Don't you miss your timeline or home."

Leonardo laughed, "My home was destroyed. There was no NYC where I'm from. The Kraang won in my timeline. Seeing all of you here alive and well is truly enough for me."

Leonardo felt a tap on his shoulder and he turned to see Leo stands behind him.

"Donnie wants to talk to you." he said smiling

As Leonardo stood up he made sure not to look at Mikey's drawing. He followed his younger self back to the lab.

Donnie was sitting in his gamer chair while looking up something on his phone.

"What do you need Don?" He asked him

Donnie looked at Leonardo and then looked away with a red face, "I just want to know about you and your Donnie."

"Is that it?" he walked over to Donnie, "There's no need to be embarrassed over that. I'll tell you everything you need to know."

Donnie pressed a button on his wrist tech and the lab doors shut, "Okay, um... So..."

Leonardo looked at Leo, "What does he want to talk about?"

"Your love life basically. Like how long did it take for you two to bang? Did it hurt the first time? Any kids? Things like that."

Leonardo held back a laugh, "That's it?"

Donnie nods."

He smiled, "Sure I'll tell you what you need to know. But I'm telling you this now. Every relationship is different. My Donnie is different cause he grew up and so did I. You're relationship might be rocky, but I'll be here to help you two out."

The two nod and wait for Leonardo to begin. They have a lot to learn.
