Chapter-12 | Deception

Jeongguk enters the large building, which is none other than the Kim Corporation, along with his husband, for protection purposes.

"Is V going to take it easily?" Jeongguk asks, looking at his husband, who sighs, shaking his head. "No idea, Ggukie" Taehyung pouts, looking at his husband with his beautiful Bambi eyes. He closes his eyes when Jeongguk bends to peck his forehead before coming out of the elevator. "Let's do this!" 

Lisa this morning brought the reports, handed them over to the couple, and explained everything to the young Jeon couple without sugarcoating. In the end, the couple is left with mixed emotions, having no idea what to do.

They took the whole morning to digest everything. Jeongguk is furious, which is an understatement, he is also devastated by his brother's situation.  After discussing, both decided to visit V. Taehyung brought lunch along with him for his twin, knowing how well V takes care of his meals.

Now here are both, to explain everything to V, he has every right to know! And knowing about Jungkook, they know they will get nothing from confronting him, only V can do it, he can make everything right! He has the power to break Jungkook.

V came back after his meeting, only to find his twin and Jeongguk, both waiting for him. The older twin went to the couch and sat opposite the couple with a tea table filled with food that Taehyung brought. "Let's talk after lunch" the younger twin said, handing the chopsticks to V, who took them without complaining.

V gobbles everything, leaving no trace of food behind, while Jeongguk and Taehyung wait for the older to finish, He is so hungry, yet doesn't bother about it Taehyung inaudibly sighs, looking at his twin with arms crossed across his chest, few more minutes, V finishes eating, with Taehyung packing everything back, 

Jeongguk slowly takes out the reports and medicines that he brought along with them and places them in front of V, who looks still in his place, eyes on the reports, hands intertwined, heart picking its pace, "They are the medicines Kook used and his original medical reports" V still didn't utter a single word, but he can feel the tension and fear that's growing in his heart,

Taehyung goes to his brother, sitting beside him, his hand cupping the intertwined hand of his twin, a hand on his shoulder. He knows what his twin is going through, "Hanie" Taehyung sweetly calls, earning a hum from V, Taehyung wets his lips before saying "Kook was misled, Hyung" V looks at Taehyung, with his eyes raised in question,

"He didn't abort the child, but rather----it's impossible for him" "W-What?" V felt like his whole body ran cold as he took in what Taehyung has just said, "It's like this, Eun-Jung is Jungkook's doctor, he just wanted to check if there was something wrong with him, because apparently, after trying many times, Jungkook still couldn't conceive and fear did root deep inside of him, h-he did have check-up and used medicines, but apparently, Kook has very low chances of conceiving" Taehyung felt his eyes well up in tears, while Jeongguk fists his palm, controlling his anger.

"E-Eun-Jung fabricated the reports, which shows that he was ba-barrier, and prescribed him some medication, which resulted in completely losing his chances" Taehyung shakily sighs as the room silence heavier than it was before, "Lisa checked into it, but she said that even after proper medication, it's tough because, apparently----the power of the medicines that she prescribed are too high"

"A-And he did not trust me through all of this," a single tear fell from V's eyes as he breathed heavily, "Hanie" Taehyung shakes his head, cupping his twin face, "H-he trusted in your love, b-but Jungkook has gone through worse, depression and anxiety, his life took a turn after this, h-he---I think you should talk to him" Taehyung wasn't able to finish
