Chapter-13 | Together, Again

"I--I--Han" Jungkook stares at V with such agony in his eyes that he whispers, "I-I am lost" He collapses into V's arms, cradling against his broad chest and absorbing the warmth because both of them needed it. "I-I can not d-do this anymore" are the last words Jungkook utters before passing out in the man's arms. The man panics and taps the boy's cheeks in concern. "Jungkook? K-Kook? Baby" V called but had no answer, so he grabbed the jug from the nightstand next to the bed and sprayed the unconscious man with it, but it did not work, which made him anxious.

V lifts Jungkook in bridal style in his arms, frantically running downstairs, not minding the worried family downstairs, he goes straight to his car, "what happened?" Taehyung asked, panicked and worried, "he fainted" V gave a short reply, "I will drive" Jeongguk takes the keys from the man who is terribly shaking, Jimin into the passenger seat, V and Taehyung behind with Jungkook in between them.

As much as Jeongguk wants to ask V, what has he done to his brother, he couldn't. After looking at V, who is also much worried about Jungkook, he couldn't bring himself to ask nor jump to conclusions, as he also knows how much V loved Jungkook even after divorce, not to mention Taehyung and Jungkook will chop him alive for picking a fight with him!!

When they arrive at the hospital, Jungkook is admitted right away. Jeongguk personally asked for Lisa, even though it is not her area of expertise, and she co-monitored Jungkook with another physician. Everyone is waiting outside, including Yoongi, who arrived as soon as he received a call from Jimin. Jin and Namjoon are looking after the children, "He will be alright, Hanie" Taehyung soothes his brother, who has been staring at the closed door since Jungkook entered, by stroking his shoulder and gently massaging his scalp.

V's lack of emotion is what worries Taehyung the most; his twin is not expressive, and a lot goes through his mind and heart. His eyes are bloodshot, but not a tear has fallen from them. After they arrived at the hospital and removed Jungkook from his arms, he appeared to be in complete shock, and Taehyung felt the urge to kill the person who was initially responsible for all of this!

He sighs when he gets no response, Taehyung makes his way to his husband, Jeongguk immediately pulls his into his embrace, pecking his temple, Taehyung clutches his husband's shirt, both sharing the silence and comfort. Until the door opens, Lisa and Dr. Lee come to the family who are already on their feet.

"Is everything okay with the patient? He fainted from extreme stress and has some cuts that, based on the examination, appear to have occurred yesterday or the day before yesterday. Does he also get panic attacks? Or anxiety? "They appear to be self-harming."  Dr. Lee asks bluntly, and Jimin gently bites his lip and replies, "He does experience panic attacks, he had one last night" His cheeks are stained with tears from his tears.

"That explains everything; it looks like he went through another panic attack before he fainted." "yes, he did," V answers, gulping his throat and Dr. Lee nods, "I have for now attached an IV and cleaned his cuts, For now, let's wait for Mr. Jeon to wake up. It's better if you connect with his therapist." Dr. Lee leaves; Lisa stays behind.

"Don't worry, I already explained everything to him, and Jungkook is out of danger, if it were worse, he could have gone through a cardiac arrest, but he is fine, it was caused by the hyperventilation and stress" she explains to the family. "Thanks Lisa," "that's completely fine, Gguk, I will now leave as I got OP, a nurse will constantly check on Jungkook"

"Can I see him?" V asks, "Yeah, sure, but be careful; you can meet him when he moves to the room in shortly"

The door creaks as V opens, his eyes fall on the sleeping angel, the room is silent, with light fluttering of curtains and air conditioner sounds, and V walks towards Jungkook, Slowly, his eyes fall on those scars on the sleeping male's hand, That's why he is always wearing full sleeves V gently traces those scars, What have you done to yourself? Koo tears well up in his eyes, Taking a deep breath, V leans down to press a kiss on the sleeping male before he leaves the room.
