Chapter 4: The Metamorph Operation

A/N:Hey hey guys how are you all doing good I hope. So as I have a few problems with how I could write the Previous Era stuff I will explain the relationship Y/N has with the future Flame Chasers and other key figures before I start today's chapter.

Y/N, Emma and Ben have a good and friendly relationship with Kevin, Dr.MEI and Mobius. The three of them saw Elysia and Eden a few times when meetings where happening but they have yet to talk to the two.
Elysia: She is highly interested in Y/N and his friends as she has a feeling that they are planning to play the long game when it comes to Honkai.
Mobius: Well she accepts Y/N as he is rather open and supportive towards her, while she accepted the Honkai gene requests of Emma and Ben as well.
Dr. MEI: well it is for me rather difficult to grasp her personality as she is more unstable then Uranium 235 in a radioactive chain reaction by how her personality shifts and changes even within a story chapter or Manga chapter.
Kevin: He sees the three of them as reliable comrades.

And yeah onto the chapter now.

A few months after last chapter

The Herrscher of flames has descended and is currently on a rampage in Australia as all tries to get near Commander Himeko who became the Herrscher of Flames where futile, as Dr. MEI and Mobius brought the Metamorph Operation back to the higher ups. Kevin volunteered to go through the procedure and it was a success but as a matter of fact his body temperature was reduced to -30 degrees Celsius. He was also the one to strike down the Herrscher, as a bit more of a calm aura returned to the base.

Y/N POV:

Y/N:"Ok wow this was kinda intense. It felt way more intense compared to what happened in the manga."
Emma:"Well do you think everything would have been put into the Manga?"
Ben:"Well we should focus on what will happen to us soon. Mobius told me that our Operation will be scheduled for tomorrow morning."
Y/N:"I still feel kinda bad because the group that collected that Honkai gene for me was half whipped out by that thing."
Emma:"At least it is dead now. Still this thing gave me the creeps it was humanoid, but more deadly then normal Honkai Zombies and even a few of the Larger Honkai Beasts."
Ben:"I thonk it has something to do because of its great speed and strength in such a small body. So anyway I wanted to check up on the Little Griseo I still feel bad because her dad got injured in the last mission so I want to help them out a bit."
Emma:"Ok Ben be safe."
Y/N:"Alright Ben see you later."

Ben nods as he left the room of you three

Emma:"So Y/N Uhm I wanted to ask you something."
Y/N:"Huh? Oh Uhm yeah what is it Emma?"
Emma:"Y/N what do you think about me not in a a friend way in more then just being a friend."
You where a bit shocked as she said this as you think for a bit as a noticeable blush was on Emma her face
Y/N:"Uhm well. I uhh I really like in more then just a friend way."
Y/N said blushing as well

Emma smiled as she heard that as she leaned closer towards Y/N kissing him on his cheek, as she jumped in surprise as a Pink haired woman barged into the room

Elysia:"Hello Emma, Ben, Y/N ah Uhm where is Ben? And where I interrupting something you two look kinda red."

Emma:"E-Elysia what are you doing here?"
Y/N:"You could have at least knocked at the door."
Elysia:"Hehe sorry but Dr. MEI asked me to get the three of you but Ben is not here by the looks of it."
Y/N:"Ben is visiting Griseo and her parents."
Elysia:"Ah I see he is acting like an older brother towards Griseo. Ok anyway while I go get Ben you two better get going to the lab. Dr. MEI wants to explain the operation to you tree before they do it tomorrow."
Elysia said as she walked out of the room again

Emma:"She seems more hyperactive then I remember."
Y/N:"Ok good I'm not the only one. We should not keep Dr.MEI waiting so let's go. Maybe we can continue later this evening."
Emma:"I would like that."
The two of you smile as you get up and walk to the laboratory where three glass tubes where being prepared with Dr.Mobius and Klein working on them.
Dr.MEI:"Ah there you are Uhm where is Ben was he not with you?"
Emma:"He was visiting Griseo and her parents Elysia is getting him right as we speak."
Dr. MEI nodded as Emma said that as we waited a few more minutes until Ben returned with Elysia
