“I hate you but I don't want to hate you. So I choose to hate myself, because 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶” The words once again rang in her ears.

She opened her eyes, staring blankly, nothing in particular. But the uneasiness in her heart never calmed down. The feeling was where she just wanted to run away as far as she could, wherever, anywhere but somewhere. But she knew she couldn't.

It's been 4 years since Ruhanika came to NewYork and nothing in her life felt the same. After that incident she left India and never once went back.

In these 4 years she has received many calls from her parents and family asking her to come back. But she never looked forward to going back to india.

But today was different, because she's currently sitting on her flight to india. Yesterday she received a call from her Di asking her to come back.

She could have said no, actually she did say no but she threatened her and said

“Ruhi, agr tum kal tak india vapis nhi aayi toh main kabhi tumhe apne bache se nahi milne dungi aur.. aur tumhara tyag bhi kr dungi.”

(Ruhi, if you didn't come to india by tomorrow, I'll never let you meet my baby and.. and I'll disown you)

These were her words and she couldn't just let her Di disown her like that. Already she was so angry with her because she didn't attend her wedding which was 2 years back.

She has been apologizing from the past 2 years like a mad person but she is just so stubborn to accept her apology. After her call she did not waste any second and booked the first flight to india.

“You okay ruhi?” Richa asked who was just beside her. Richa is Ruhi's PA as well as a good friend. They met in NewYork in one of the clubs. It was just one day when Richa was out looking for a job and Ruhi asked her to join her firm.

Since that day they have been together. Richa might not know the whole story but she knows how much the thought of going back to India terrifies her.

“Yeah, I'm fine.” Ruhi replied. But both Ruhi and Richa knew that nothing was fine. Ruhi was hell nervous about coming back to india.

Because only she knows how hard these 4 years were for her. How much she missed her family, her friends and her.. Love.

Till today she hasn't realized that she truly loves him. There was not a single day when she didn't miss him or his thoughts cross her mind.

Every single day she went thinking about him. Living in his memories, their memories.

But that one incident ruined everything between them. When she first came to NewYork, she got many calls from him but she answered none and eventually he stopped calling her.
