Chapter 8

As they fell into the abyss, Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie felt a sense of dread. But just as they were about to hit the bottom, they felt themselves slowing down. They landed gently on a soft surface, confused but unharmed.

They found themselves in a vast underground cavern, lit by glowing crystals embedded in the walls. In the center of the cavern was a large, ancient-looking door, covered in mysterious symbols.

Meanwhile, back in the room where they had left Brock, the mysterious Pokemon's hand glowed brighter. Suddenly, Brock's body started to levitate, surrounded by a strange energy.

Back in the cavern, Ash and the others approached the ancient door. As they got closer, the symbols on the door started to glow. The door slowly opened, revealing a blinding light.

They shielded their eyes as a powerful gust of wind blew from the door. When they opened their eyes, they saw a figure standing in the doorway. It was Brock, but there was something different about him. His eyes were glowing, and he was surrounded by a strange aura.

"Brock?" Ash called out, but Brock didn't respond. Instead, he raised his hand, and a powerful energy beam shot towards them.

The energy beam raced towards them at an alarming speed. Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie barely had time to react. But just as the beam was about to hit them, their Pokemon jumped in front of them, creating a protective barrier.

The energy beam collided with the barrier, causing a massive explosion. When the smoke cleared, they saw their Pokemon, exhausted but still standing. They rushed to their Pokemon, thanking them for their bravery.

Meanwhile, Brock lowered his hand, his eyes still glowing. He didn't say a word, his expression unreadable. He turned around and walked back through the ancient door, which closed behind him.

Ash and the others were left in the cavern, their hearts filled with worry for their friend. They knew they had to find a way to bring Brock back to his senses. But as they were about to approach the door, the cavern started to shake.

They looked up to see the ceiling of the cavern starting to crumble. Large rocks started to fall, blocking their path to the door. They were trapped in the cavern, with no way out.
