~Chapter 4 - To the skies~

"Thanks" They all said. After Sunny dropped off all the food, she came to sit with Winter and Qibli. "Hey, where have you been, Winter?" She asked.

"Just.. In the ice kingdom. Focusing in my own things.." he responded as he ate. "Have you not had time to visit? We've all missed you!" Sunny asked.

He shook his head, "nope." His ears perked up. "Speaking of witch, I forgot something at home. I'll get it after I'm done eating." Winter said.

Qibli lowered his head and his wings drooped. "How long will you be gone??" He asked. "Only like.. thirty minutes. You'll have company from the other dragonets though."

"Okayy." he groaned a took a bit of his sheep. Then his ears perked up. "Wait, can I come with you?" Qibli asked. "No, the wall will kill you, you can't." Winter responded. "Yeah, but on the way I can go to the scorpion den and see queen Thorn and I'll wait for you." Qibli made a great reason to come with, plus Winter was fine with it. "Sure." He shrugged and finished his last bit of food.
"Yay!" Qibli smiled and Winter glanced at him, cleaning his talons off. Winter smiled slightly at Qibli and waited patiently for him to be done with his food.

A bit later Qibli finished and cleaned his talons. "Let's go!!" He exclaimed and sprinted to the entrance of the mountain.

Winter ran over to him till they got to the cliff, then he stretched and shot up into the sky. "Wee!!" Qibli smiled at Winter. "I feel like I haven't flew in years!! I mean- it's only been a day or two- but meh!" Winter smiled at qibli as he talked. The wind flew in his eyes and around his icy scales. His scales gleamed in the sky like the sun. The wind batted at his wings roughly as they crossed over the rainforest, and you could see alot of bright colors, and dark scales and stars mixed together under the trees.
The sand kingdom and the snowy mountains could now be seen in the distance. Winter batted his wings and glided through the air. Now the weather started to feel warmer as they entered the desert. Qibli started diving down a bit to under Winter. "I'm going to scorpion den! See ya!" Qibli dived down into the sand, his scales mixing with the environment around him as he flew.
As Qibli dived down, Winter sped up to get the the ice kingdom as fast as possible. He was planning on getting to his room Grabbing his journal, then leaving as fast as possible. The environment turned ice cold and winter felt the cold breeze on his wings as his scales gleamed brightly in the sun. The palaces were bright and covered in snow.
He dived to his room and opened the door. His desk and bed were there in the exact position he left them. He grabbed a small back and hung it on his side, throwing his journal and a few other things in there. He then walked out and locked the door.
He flew off and sprinted as his wings batted in the air. The wind blew in his face again and his scaled gleamed. He saw the sand kingdom ahead and darted down to the sand next to the scorpion den.
Sand flew everywhere in his eyes and he coughed, shaking his head aggressively and shoved the sand out of his face with his talons. The guards looked sternly at him. "And you are?" The first one said. "Prince Winter of the Icewings." He responded and the guards opened the gates and he could hear qiblis voice in a small distance. He saw qiblis barbed tail swaying up and down around a corner and winter walked up behind hi, glacing at Thorn. Qibli turned to winter. "Oh you've met Winter, right? Yeah he's my future husbando!" He smiled at Thorn and winter and winter looked at him with a slight tint a blue to his face. "See! He's not even arguing! He agrees!" Thorn chuckled softly at Winters blue face. Winter looked away. "Anyways we should go. Bye, your majesty!" Qibli said and moved his wing to indicate winter to follow him. "Wait. Winter, I'd like to speak with you privately before you guys leave." Thorn said before they left the room and winter turned around.

Hey guys! Ive been trying to make the chapters longer so they arent to short and you guys dont get to bored. Im also gonna stop naming the chapters cause of no ideas. Thank, i worked hard on the chapter,hope ya liked it!
