Backstory: Born in Atlas, Daniel grew up normally with an unusual friend, Weiss Schnee. Behind the scenes his parents were activists working to bring down Jacques and Ironwood for crimes and cover-ups. This drew thee ire of Ironwood and to protect himself he had black op agents kidnapped the family. Daniel was taken to a facility and experimented on with dust. The doctor manage to infused some into the boy, give him unnatural abilities such as being cold as ice, emitting a white and blue smoke for cover, briefly making himself intangible and even teleportation. Using these new powers Daniel would escape and find out his parents died to similar experiments. He would get out of Atlas and run into a man named Gabriel Reyes. Gabriel was an ex black ops agent under Ironwood and took the boy in. Gabriel would train Daniel before he'd go out on his own. He'd first operate in Atlas kingdom, making sure his self given but appropriate title of Reaper of Winter spread like wildfire. After years of operation without truly been seen, the Atlas military would increase their pressure 10 fold, making Daniel leave for Vale. He wouldn't operate for awhile to get Atlas personal off him when Weiss and her team would find him.
