My ears were ringing from the loud screams of the girls looking up at me. My fingers played automatically, sometimes I wondered how fast I could play without making a mistake. I loved the feeling, it was euphoric.

I looked into the crowd, searching for her. The girls in the front row begged for a look from me, and when I let my eyes wander over them, they almost swooned.

Normally, she always stood in the front row. I felt disappointment wash over me when I realized that she wasn't there, just like the last few times.

A girl a little further back, in the sixth or seventh row, caught my attention. She held up a sign that read 'TOM FUCK ME THROUGH THE MONSUN' which made me giggle and I winked at her. I let my gaze drift a little further until I saw her.

My heart stopped for a second.

Y/n...

It's been a while since I last saw her. I was beginning to despair, but now she was here. She hasn't changed a bit.

We held eye contact and she gave me a soft smile. God I missed that smile.

In my trance, I almost didn't realize that Bill was already saying goodbye to our fans. I mouthed a thank you and waved to the fans as I ran off stage. I looked back at Y/n and she was gone. She was probably already there. "What's the rush?" Bill asked as I put my guitar down and pushed past him. "Uhm- I'm meeting a girl." I said quickly and he nodded.

When Y/n shows up at our concerts, we always meet at the tour bus afterwards. I walked out of the backstage area into the parking lot which is only for staff or artists.

The summer breeze brushed my face. It was a perfect evening, the sun had already set but it was still light enough. The clouds were purple and the birds slowly stopped chirping.

I noticed a few fans watching me from the fence. Normally that doesn't bother me but today it did. I looked around for security. "Excuse me! Could you make them go away?" I asked a guy who was standing by a car smoking. He looked at me for a moment, then at the fans and then back at me. "Of course, Mr. Kaulitz!" He said kindly and went on his way.

I walked on to the very back of the parking lot. For safety reasons, we always park our tour bus where you can see it the least.

I approached and there she was.

She looked up at me and I couldn't help but stare at her. "It's been a while." I said and she nodded. "Yeah, you're starting to forget about me, aren't you?" I gave her a sad look. "I could never forget you Y/n." She gave me that smile again. "You haven't changed at all." She looked me up and down "And you even more so." She said in her sweet voice. I giggled and felt a hint of sadness wash over me. "I've missed you so much Y/n." I whispered.
"I missed you too Tom." She said sadly. I looked at her, just admiring her. Trying to memorize every tiny detail. Just in case I wouldn't see her again for a long time. I lifted my hand and wanted to stroke her cheek, but just before I did, I pulled it back. I sighed, "It's all so pointless without you." She looked into my eyes now. "But you're doing great! Look at you, the girls can't get enough of you!" She said and laughed. It was a bittersweet moment, I was happy that she was with me but it hurt to know that it wasn't forever. "Please promise me that we'll see each other again soon."She looked into the distance, admiring the purple clouds. "I can't promise that, Tom." Her soothing voice was the most beautiful thing I'd heard in a long time. "Maybe it's just time to get over us." Hearing those words come out of her mouth was like being stabbed in the heart. "Please don't say that. I will never get over us or you." Tears were now gathering in my eyes. She smiled calmly, "It's been four years Tom. You're ready for closure and you deserve to be happy. Let me go."
It hurt but she was right.
"I will always love you." Was the last thing I heard from her.

"Tom? Who are you talking to?" I was startled and turned around, Bill was standing there looking at me confused. "I was just on the phone." He nodded slowly. "Uh-huh I brought you your guitar. We have to go on to France!" He got on the bus and disappeared. I turned around again Y/n was gone.

"I promise you I will visit your grave soon, my dear. I love you too"
