Fear coursed through my veins, overwhelming my senses, drowning all thought into a sea of murky black depths. The monster before my eyes snarled, crouching closer to the ground. His lips pulled back over his teeth and he tentatively moved a hand forward. He balanced his weight and began moving closer to me, snarling every time I would try to retreat. A twig snapped in the deathly silent night and the monsters attention was diverted. I took the opportunity to stumble to my feet and limp quickly back to the car. I collapsed against the back of the car, my body making a loud crash as it molded to the dented metal. The monster snapped his gaze back to me and roared, leaping towards me on all fours. My hands quickly grasped the bumper bar that had fallen off the back of the car. I hauled it over my shoulder before swinging it out. The bumper bar made contact with the monsters face and it flew from the force of the blow into the ground.
Adrenaline replaced fear as I cried out, stumbling towards the monster huddled on the ground. I swing out, striking another blow to his ribs. I direction the bar towards his heads before swinging down again. A hand captured the bar from behind me and ripped it from me grip. A tall, skinny man with inked skin stood behind me, dressed smartly in an expensive suit and tie.
"What are you doing?" He questioned. Breathless, I tried to comprehend the situation. My eyes caught a gold shimmering glow, swirling behind his eyes. My memory matched it to the eyes of the monster on the ground and I froze.
There was more of them?
My knee rose of its own accord and rammed itself into the space between his legs. He huffed, bending over before his knees gave out, making him collapse onto the ground. Arms wrapped around me, hauling my body off the ground. I screamed, kicking out, my feet colliding with the strangers knees. They didn't buckle, however, and their grip tightened on my ribs.
Two girls ran out from the surrounding forest. One headed towards the man clutching his privates whilst the other slowed her run to a walk, heading in my direction.
"Help!" I screamed at her, trying to get out of the tight muscular arms that held me captive, "Help me!"
"Shh!" She hissed, coming closer until she stood in front of me, "We aren't going to hurt you!"
"You're with them?" I hissed, my ribs aching, "You're with these monsters?"
The arms tightened around my face and I could feel my face going red as the oxygen was cut off from my compressed lungs, "That's not a very nice thing to say..." A gruff voice said from behind me, his breath tickling my ear. The girl in front of me began to look very panicked, eyes wide and mouth agape. A choking noise came from behind me and the arms around me disappeared. Collapsing onto the ground, gasping for breath, I twist my body around to witness what had happened.
The first monster, the one I hit with my car, had risen from the ground. His sharp claws and pierced through the skin of my captors neck, blood bubbling up onto the skin. The monster lent in close to my captor and grinned sadistically into his ear.
"How dare you lay a finger on my Virtue..."
He pulled his hand from his neck and my captor dropped to the floor. The girl ran to him, stumbling to her knees.
The tall lanky man had risin from the floor, the new girl by his side. He scowled at the monster I had hit with my car and sighed heavily. Air escaped his mouth, turning into a fog that drifted from his lips.
"We wern't expecting this so soon..." He mumbled, casting glances my way as I sat, breathing heavily on the floor, "This only complicates the already harsh circumstances."
"It doesn't matter," The monster growled, slowly moving his body to form a protective stance in front of me, "She's mine and she's coming with us."
"Whoa..." I wheezed out, clutching at my aching sides, "I'm not going anywhere with you, you're all monsters. You probably just want to feed off of my flesh!"
A flash of blue and red screened across the road before disappearing again. The soft rumble of an engine and the low whirring of sirens broke every ones attention. The sounds grew louder and louder and the monsters tensed up.
"Fucking perfect..." The tall lanky one growled, glaring at the flashing coloured lights in the distance, "This is just what we didn't need."
He turned back to the monster crouching protectively in front of me, "If you're going to bring her with us, I'd do something about it. And quickly, too."
The monster turned to face me and his eyes glowed. His fingers curled around the abandoned bumper bar and he began to rise to his full height.
"I truly am sorry for what I'm about to do..." He growled as he rose the bar above his head. I screamed as it came plummeting down, making contact with my head, sending me into darkness.
+ its short, i know, im sorry. dont hit me with a bumper bar! there's finally a trailer as well :) +
