Bakugou adjusted the black baseball cap on his head as he walked across the college campus, his eyes glued to the job file on his phone. "Tch, who the hell made my profile?" He grumbled frowning at the details of his undercover alias.
The description states that he comes from a nuclear middle-class family, got into college on a scholarship, and is majoring in criminal justice. His character profile paints him as quiet, well-mannered, caring, polite, timid, and level-headed, everything Bakugou wasn't.
"Yeah, that's not happening. I won't be seeing anyone here again once this is over anyway. So it doesn't matter how I act." he scoffed, dismissing the fake persona entirely. 'That old man said I should try to find him today and follow him closely. But if I don't find him he will likely be at some house party tomorrow.' The blonde thought before leaning his head back and letting out a small sigh.
'Might as well just wait for tomorrow. This campus is way too fucking big, no way I'm finding him today. Plus my damn shoulder's killing me.' Bakugou thought wincing as he slowly rolled his injured shoulder.
Just as he was passing the base of a small hill that led to more campus buildings, a shout caught his attention.
"Look out!"
Bakugou glanced up to see a boy with curly green hair speeding down the hill on a skateboard. The blonde was about to step out of the way like the other people did when the skateboarder suddenly hit a small rock on the path causing him to trip off the skateboard.
Before the green-haired boy could fall and land flat on his face Bakugou got in front of him and managed to catch him. "You okay?" Bakugou asked half-heartedly, looking down at the boy whose face had landed against his chest."Ugh, yeah I'm fine." The boy began to say, then looked up at the blonde and smiled slightly. "Thanks for the save." He thanked the blonde.
'Woah.' Bakugou thought, taking in the boy's facial features. He noticed how the curly-haired boy had little freckles scattered across his nose and cheeks like a galaxy full of stars. Dimples appeared at the corners of his cheek when he smiled. His eyes were big and bright like the jewel that shares the same vivid green color, emerald.
"Midoriya!"
Bakugou looked up to see two guys running down the hill toward them. One had short shaggy black hair and a plain-looking face covered in some facial piercings like snake bites and an eyebrow piercing, while the other had dual-colored red and white hair and a freeze-burn scar over his left eye.
'Huh, that was easier than I thought,' Bakugou mused, realizing he had already found his target. The boy with curly hair, whom the blonde inferred to be Midoriya, pulled away from him and went over to Todoroki.
"Midoriya, are you okay?' Todoroki asked, fighting a grin as he saw Midoriya's pouty expression. Bakugou watched in surprise as Midoriya playfully shoved Todoroki, who laughed in response.
'They must be close.' Bakugou deduced. 'No sane person would shove someone with a high profile like him. I mean he is the governor's son. They're either friends or this Midoriya guy has an equally high social status but he doesn't seem like it.' Bakugou theorized.
"You're such a jerk!" Midoriya yelled when he shoved the scar-faced boy who just laughed in turn. "It's not funny! I could have died!" Midoriya protested. "Pfft, Stop being dramatic besides it's not my fault, Sero told me to do it." Todoroki replied and nodded his head toward the black-haired man who was walking up to them after retrieving the skateboard.
"Hey man don't blame me! I was just joking when I said we should push him I didn't want you to actually push him!" Sero argued.
"Oh, well you should've been more clear." Todoroki deadpanned causing Sero to shake his head and roll his eyes. The young adult then turned his attention to the blonde who was carefully observing the whole conversation.
