The next morning, Billy called the band down to the living room for a meeting. Eliza prayed he had changed his decision, but he hadn't.
"Who the fuck do you think you are, man?" Eddie asks, angry at Billy.
"Look, everybody just, calm down okay?" Eliza says quietly, not wanting everyone to start yelling
"Oh, for fuck's sake, I can't be the only one who's pissed here," Eddie yells back at her. Not realising she flinches a bit before leaning on Warren.
"I don't know what else you want me to say. You guys don't even need me. You have the songs, you got the fan base. I mean I'm sure if you just ⎯" Billy says, getting cut off by Eddie at the end.
"Billy!" Eddie yells, waving his cigarette in the air, "If you're going, go."
Billy mumbles something as he nods and walks out of the room. Eliza rubs her eyes with her fingers and looks down at her boots.
"So now what do we do?" Warren asks everyone. No one knowing the answer to his question.

KAREN: I mean, bands fall apart, you know. That's rock and roll. I just ⎯ thought this one was different.
ELIZA: Billy left us high and dry. We were just getting started, you know? Now we were back at rock bottom, had to start over.

Eliza was washing the substantial amount of dishes that had piled up in the sink when two arms snaked around her waist from behind. She smiled when she felt Warren's moustache tickle the back of her neck.
"Whatcha doin'?" Warren asks, singing the words.
"Washing up because no one bar Karen and Cami knows how to clean up after themselves," she jokes, scrubbing away at the grime on the plate that looked like it had been sitting there for days.
