Eliza was joined by Eddie, Warren and Graham as they decided to get out of the house and get some breakfast from the diner that seemed to have become their regular spot. The outpour of support from their new song with Daisy Jones had given them some extra change, so treating themselves to a diner cooked breakfast seemed like a good decision.
"We made it through breakfast without a code 3918 Eddie," Graham cheers, high-fiving his best friend as his sister rolls her eyes and wraps her hands around her boyfriend's bicep to hold herself against him. Warren placing a kiss into her hair as he laughs.
"You're so immature," Eliza rolls her eyes again, smiling and thanking Warren as he holds the door open for her, accidentally letting go before Eddie and Graham could walk through.
"Woah, Man," Graham groans rubbing his nose after receiving a door to the face, Eddie narrowly missing the impact.
Eliza drowns out the rest of their banter as she hears their song playing from a car driving past them, she slaps them all on their arms as they run towards the girls driving the car in which their new single blared through the speakers.
"Wait, is that ⎯" Eddie says, shaking Eliza by her shoulders snapping her out of the haze she was in listening to their song on the radio. She smiles wide at the Roundtree boy and runs after him as he goes towards the car.
Graham drops his drink from his hands, "Holy shit. What's the station?"
Eliza couldn't contain her smile as Warren holds her steady with his hands on her shoulders as he smiles just as wide as she is.
The girl looks at the boys stunned, "It's KHJ." She answers, looking at the group like they were some foreign critter she had never seen before.
"Thank you so much!" Eliza cheers, "Turn it up it's the best part."
"That's us on the radio!" Warren says, unable to contain his excitement in his voice. Eliza stands there stunned for a few moments and snaps out of it as her boyfriend picks her up and carries her away.
She smiles as Warren spins her around in his arms, "We're on the radio, baby."
She kisses him, proud of what the whole group had achieved. "We're on the fucking radio!"
