"Hey, Jin, did you finish typing up that letter?" Miyeon questioned, her eyes shifting from the stack of paperwork in front of her to him.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, I did," Hyunjin replied, his voice clearly weary. "I can give it to you now, I just need to print it."
Miyeon pointed out, "You sound tired." Offering reassurance, she continued, "Look, it's okay. You can go home. You don't have to wait for me; I'll take care of the rest."
"No, no. I'm fine. And honestly, you work way too much. Let me help with this..." He rose from his chair and approached her desk, carefully collecting half of the paperwork that lay there. His unexpected gesture rendered her momentarily speechless.
"Wait! There's no need for you to do that, Jin! It's my work...and you're clearly exhausted. Please, go home," she said, rising from her seat and walking towards him to retrieve the papers. However, he stubbornly refused to hand them over.
"Who's gonna walk you home? You know I walk you every day..."
"Look, I'm sure Felix is still here, he can walk me. Just go, okay! You should get some rest; you've been working a lot lately."
With a sigh, Hyunjin reluctantly agreed to her request. "Alright, I'll go. But please, make sure Lix walks you home and don't overwork yourself, okay? I'll see you tomorrow, miss president." He gave her a faint smile and gently ran his hand through her hair before exiting the student council room.
Miyeon let out a sigh as the door shut, then returned to her desk to complete her remaining tasks for the day. A couple of minutes went by until a gentle knock interrupted the silence. With an aura of radiance, the individual walked into the room. Overflowing with a contagious positivity, his mere presence had the power to uplift even the heaviest of hearts. It was impossible to ignore the brilliant smile that graced his face, a smile that seemed to possess an inherent ability to brighten anyone's day. From the moment he stepped in, it was clear that this person carried within them a special brand of positivity that was truly extraordinary.
"Hey, Jin asked me to walk you home, so I'm just letting you know I'll be in the library studying. Just meet me there when you're done!" he smiled at her. "Just don't overwork yourself please?"
She tried to return his cheery smile and replied softly, "I won't. Thanks, Lixie." He nodded in response, and the room filled with the sound of him leaving, followed by the closing of the door.
Miyeon's POV
As I switched from my inside shoes to my street shoes, I noticed something falling out of my locker. It turned out to be a sleek white envelope, sealed with a heart-shaped sticker. Uncertain if it was addressed to me, as there was no indication on the outside, I hesitated to open it, fearing I might damage the envelope. However, my curiosity got the better of me, and I couldn't resist. Upon opening it, I quickly skimmed over the letter inside, relieved to discover that it was indeed meant for me.
As I glanced over the paper without fully reading it, a clue of its contents formed in my mind. Could it be a love letter? And is it addressed to me? It seemed rather unusual. Nevertheless, curiosity prompted me to read it in its entirety.

To Lee Miyeon,
Do you know each time I think about you or being in your presence, I immediately get a feeling of security and peace? And I don't really know why but I just do, maybe because
you're my person, maybe because you're my lover and I'm yours. But I love it, I love feeling that way. I love that you make me feel that way.Very few people make me feel something but you are one of them, and to be honest I believe you will always be one of the few people who make me feel something, and I love that, and I'll always cherish that no matter if we end up together or not on this lifetime.
I always felt drawn into watching the stars, I love it actually. And I think you are like a star, at least to my eyes, because you always look so beautiful, you are always bringing in light into my days, and I always feel drawn into watching you without ever getting tired to do so. And I think that's why you are a star; my star.
I'll do anything and everything for you. Because guess what.....I love you and I always will no matter who comes after or what happens next, I love you because you are a special person in my life, you are my angel, my star, my friend , my companion, my lover. ♥︎
- your new secret admirer ♥︎

Oh. I have a secret admirer. I have a secret admirer. To share this exciting news, I hurriedly made my way to the library where Felix happened to be the only person present. Both Hyunjin and Jeongin, my vice president, whom I also considered a little brother to me, had already left.
"Felix!" I called out, intending to repeat my revelation, but I immediately quieted down when the librarian shushed me, reminding me of my surroundings. "Felix!" I whispered urgently, hoping my voice wouldn't carry too far.
"Miyeon, what is it?" asked Felix, his eyes fixed on the paper I was obnoxiously waving in the air. "And what exactly is that?"
"A love letter...someone left me a love letter!"
Felix stared at me, his expression a mix of shock and curiosity. "A love letter?" he exclaimed, his eyes fixed on the paper in my hand. I nodded silently, taking a seat beside him. Carefully, I placed the creased letter before him, its contents revealing someone's unwavering love for me. As he read the words, a visible cringe appeared on his face.
"I don't know man, that's kind of creepy..."
I stared at him blankly. "How?"
He looked disgusted as he said, "I mean, they're referring to you as their companion, their lover..." The level of disgust on his face was so intense that it almost made me want to laugh.
"I guess so. I'm going to tell Hyunjin when I get home and see what he thinks...I don't know what I'm supposed to do with this, really." I sighed, stuffing the letter in my bag and standing up. Felix gathered his stuff as well, and we began the oh so familiar route to my house.
