"Thank you so much, Lix!" Miyeon chimed as the two reached her doorstep. "Sorry to burden you like this, Hyunjin just insisted you walked me home since I told him to rest."

He simply tilted his head slightly and a playful smile spread across his face—that infectious smile of his, capable of instantly lifting anyone's spirits. It was radiant, akin to a beam of sunlight breaking through the clouds, casting warmth and joy upon all who witnessed it. "And he listened...he's so whipped..." he mumbled, but not loud enough for her to hear.

"Sorry?" she asked, not hearing the nonsense the boy mumbled, clearly not wanting her to hear.

"Nothing. And don't worry about it, I had nothing planned for the rest of the day anyway. I can walk you home anytime you need, Min." He waved goodbye as she entered her home, watching carefully to make sure she got inside safely.

As she entered her home, she was greeted by the sound of her siblings arguing. Choosing to ignore it, she loudly declared "I'm home" so that no one would mistake any commotion for a burglary. This was a routine occurrence, after all. The cause of their argument? She had no idea. Perhaps it revolved around one of them accusing the other of stealing something. It made sense, considering she had two little sisters who were both in Junior High, as well as a younger brother in elementary school. And, of course, let's not forget about her older brother, the oldest child in the family. As for why her parents decided to engage in whatever chaotic procreation dance they performed, who knows? Five times, maybe? We can only speculate.

Out of the four, she definitely had a favorite sibling; that title belonging to her older brother: Lee Minho.

I mean, he's everyone's favorite, right?

She entered her room, putting her stuff down, but keeping the letter in her hand. She went straight to Minho's room, knocking three times and waiting a few seconds before entering.

"Hi," she greeted. "Look at this." she gestured toward the letter in her hand with her head, smiling.

"Ew, it's Miyeon," he responded. "What's that?"

"Guess."

"A paper containing someone's undying love for you which I deem impossible because I mean look at you...how could anyone have a crush on you? It's probably from a secret admirer since it would be embarrassing to be in love with you, you know."

"What the fuck?" she refrained herself from using anymore...foul words. "Shut up, you old cat lady."

"Was I right?"

"Yes. Scarily spot on, except for the part where you called me unlovable." She looked at him with furrowed eyebrows confused and maybe even a little scared on how he was able to flawlessly guess all of that.
