Wind In The Sky

Chapter - 7

Phai landed in Chiang Mai and was escorted to a resort. He was scheduled to stay there for two weeks. The assistant was explaining his schedule to him but none of them were going into his head.

Phai - Can you please cancel all my plans today and schedule them for tomorrow?

Assistant - Khab Khun Phai.... If you want anything please let me know. I will arrange it for you.

Phai - Just leave me alone. Let no one disturb me. That's it.

Assistant - Khab Khun Phai.

Phai checked into his room. He entered the room which was closed for visitors the past eight years. The room was the same one which he and Sky were staying during their honeymoon. When Sky left him, this was the first place he searched apart from all the places. But Sky was no where to be found.

He bought the whole resort and made sure this suite is not given to anyone. Whenever he felt low or missed Sky so much he came here leaving everything back.

Phai went into the washroom and closed the door.

Eight Years Ago :

Phai went to the hotel lobby to check into a new room.

Receptionist - I am sorry Khun Phai. But all the suites and rooms are completely occupied.

Phai - What? How is it possible?

Receptionist - There is an international conference happening in the nearby location and there are tourists from all over the world. Resulting in all the rooms being booked.

Phai - Fine. But let me know once you get any room checked out.

Receptionist - Khab Khun Phai.

Phai left the reception and went to Sky's room. While inside the room Sky was sitting on the couch and was counting numbers in reverse order.

Sky - 5...4...3...2...

Knock knock

Sky - He returned a second before I expected him. Not bad.

Saying that Sky went and opened the room door. He didn't allow Phai to enter the room and was standing beside the door not allowing Phai to enter.

Phai - Move aside.

Sky - Why? You said you will be checking into a new room na.

Phai - You knew it, right?

Sky laughed and this irritated Phai more.

Phai - What are you hiding?

Sky - Hiding? I am not hiding anything.

Phai - then why are you laughing?

Sky - I was laughing at stupid.

Phai - Sky

Sky - let me guess... They said all rooms are booked because there is an international conference happening nearby.

Phai - How did you know?

Sky - And do you know who is hosting it?

Phai - Who?

Sky - The Theerapanyakuls and The Wangs.

Phai - What?

Sky - It is hosted by your Dad Vegas and my Dad Lian.

Phai - Dad Vegas?

Sky - Don't you still understand that they pre-planned everything and arranged this trip for both of us.
