"What are you thinking about Jaehyun?" "How it's unfair" "What is?" Haewon asked her friend. "Why is it, that everyone can be happy, with their significant others, and I'm here unhappy, hung up on-" He couldn't finish his sentence since the girl hugged him to comfort the boy. "I'm sorry for you, Jaehyun, how do you know he doesn't like you?" "Well, he's probably not gay, for starters" "probably! I say, shoot your shot!"

"But, Kim Woonhak- he probably likes Lily, I wouldn't be surprised, she's really nice, funny and just really great being with her" The boy's eyes widened, like what you'd see in cartoons. Woonhak just wanted to surprise/scare his friends in a playful way, and now he somehow found out that his childhood and best friend likes him in a romantic way.

"No way, no no no" He muttered to himself as he walked back to the bench where Taesan and all others were. He was walking backwards, he almost tripped. "Woonhak! Are you alright? You look pale" "Yeah, you look sick, do you want to go to the office, so that you can go home" Leehan asked "Or the nurse's office?" Sungho suggested.

"No no no, I'm fine!" "Are you sure?" "Completely!" Woonhak faked a smile. Although the smile was rather convincing to the others.

"Alright, anyway, have you guys done the math homework?" "I'm doing it this afternoon, after school, with Jaehyun" "honestly Woonhak, I don't get how you can be friends with him, when we went out yesterday, he was silent" "He's not like that though! He is a sweetheart once you get close to him-" "How are you even supposed to get close to him?" "Oh well" The younger boy thought for a while, trying to find an answer. "You don't know? I thought you knew each other really well" "We don't tell each other everything!"

"So how do you get close to him?" "Uhh, childhood friend?" "Isn't that too late?" Riwoo added, Woonhak and the other boys except his boyfriend had forgotten he was there. "Well, I guess you have to talk to him, but not too much or he'll be annoyed, once you're friends with him, he won't mind, but while you're trying he will mind, I'm speaking from experience-" "You weren't always friends with him?" "No, no, no, it was Lily, as fun as she is, she does not know how to shut up! (A/n: Lily and I are twining lmao)

"Oh yeah, that gets annoying, one of the reasons I broke up with her-" "Kwak Jiseok? Excuse me? What? Huh? You dated her?" "Yeah, for like half a year I think" "why did we not know about this?" "Uh I don't know you never asked" "Oh! Woonhak, you're finally starting to have colour on your face, you were really really pale before" "oh, really?" The tallest boy nodded.

Woonhak remembered what he had heard just a hhh uple of minutes ago. Suddenly, his face turned pale again. "Oh, never mind what I had just said" "Something definitely happened, I won't ask you though if you don't want to share" Taesan had always been observant, although Woonhak has been friends with him for quite a while, this part of him always surprised the younger.

"C'mon, let's go Woonhak" Jaehyun stood up and helped the other boy pack his stuff. "Right right, uh- the pencil case goes over there" He pushed the pencil case further away. "Jaehyun! I'll be going the same way home as you but I'll be going to Lily's house!" "Ok" Haewon was getting quite close to Lily, Jaehyun remembered that time where Lily kept pestering him.

"Wow Jaehyun, I never realised we went on the same bus to go home!" "Oh yeah" The four of them hurried to the bus station, although their bus was always the last to come. Jaehyun noticed that there were only 3 seats on the bus. "Woonhak, you can take the seat over there" "Really?" "Of course!" "Thanks!" The older boy sat down and Jaehyun grabbed onto one of those hangy thingies (a/n: I literally don't know what it's called please tell me you know what I mean)

(This next part will be woonhak's thoughts so in first person!)

Jaehyun would've given me the seat even if he didn't like me that way, right? He's just being nice. He must've been talking about another Kim Woonhak. Denial. I'm in denial right. I sighed and continued thinking.

Myung Jaehyun, my childhood friend and best friend, likes me in a romantic way. How do I feel? I mean, I don't mind it though, right? It is kind of a confidence boost.

Jaehyun is really attractive and every single girl falls for him but he likes me? Is that why he rejects everyone? Oh god, why does love have to be so complicated, why does it have to be me? I have nothing to love! I'm just Kim Woonhak.

(Back to third person)

"Are you alright Woonhak?" The boy was visibly panicking, so obviously his friend would be concerned. "Yeah, perfectly fine"

Lies.

"Ok" The boy continued thinking, he didn't actually like his friend right? They're best friends, nothing less, nothing more, right? That's how it's always been and that's how it was supposed to go. Just Kim Woonhak and Myung Jaehyun together as friends.

"That's our station" The group stood up and scanned their bus cards again. The teenagers then separated. The Myung household was only a ten minute walk from the bus stop. Jaehyun would usually listen to music while walking to it. Ever since Haewon came, he would talk to her.

"It looks complicated" "What?" The older boy hadn't thought about the main reason that he had come. "The work sheet?" "Oh right, yeah, I tried solving at least one question but didn't understand anything, at the same time, Riwoo was talking to me the whole time, but it's really rare so I listened to him" "It's rare?" "Yeah, he's quite introverted, so whenever we hear him talk we let him- oh and by the way, I do think he wants to be your friend, at least from the way he was talking, he asked me how to be your friend." "Lee Riwoo? The guy who dances, like a lot?" "And very well!" "Yeah, he looks nice, I'd like to be friends with him as well, but I would prefer him talk to me first"

Merry Christmas! I hope you like this chapter! Next chapter will have some advancement to the story, in like Woonhak and Jaehyun's relationship.  Also, I couldn't update since my phone broke and since my laptop is broken I was writing on my phone. AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 90 READS!
