Oh no. This is not good.

"Did you sign anything, Willy?" I asked.

If he did, there's is nothing I can do to help him, I really hope he read the small print. Mrs. Scrubbit is known around here from trapping people into working for her.

"Oh, I did. The lady was very kind letting me stay since I have no money. Besides, the place is really nice" He told me, very cheerful and excited.

His face exhaled happiness and hope. I find it quite intriguing since he just lost all his chocolate money. There's something big moving him to this. But the fact that he signed means he can't leave, I have no idea how I can help him now.

"You have a big problem, those contracts are scams. You won't be able to leave." I said, trying to sound as serious as I can.

"What do you mean? I just signed for a room"

Now he looked genuinely confused, his green eyes seemed to stare at my soul.

"She traps people there. It's not what it looks like, Wonka. You need to find a way to get out of that place"

"I have nowhere else to stay. Y/N, you need to understand that this is my only chance to reach my dream. I'm sure the papers where just for a room" He was more serious than ever saying that. "I appreciate you trying to help, but I'm sure I'll be just fine. Thank you for the money, I will pay you back when I open my store".

With that, he took his suitcase from the ground and walked away towards the end of the galery.

'Great, what a way to start a friendship'

I returned to my store to close it for the day. As I walk in, I'm surprised to see a small package above my desk.

I move closer to it. It's a white box wrapped with a red lace. It probably is a chocolate box from the Cartel. But as I analyse it better, there is an initial marked in the white part. 'L.' . Does not sound like them at all.

I open it carefully but something drops from the package. I take off a letter attached to it and look for the thing that fell.

I find a small golden pin in my carpet. Looking at it, reminds me of a emblem I saw in a dentist office back when I was a kid. Odd. Who would send me this?

I read the letter:

"Dear Y/N,

I hope this finds you in a time of hope. You have been very insistent in the mission you gave yourself 6 years ago. I believe the moment of conclusion draws closer. You shall find the one you seek for.

Your friend, L."

What the hell.

I've never heard of an L. in my entire life, and now this who is trying to tell me what's going to happen?

The fact that scares me is that he got the information right, I indeed set a plan six years ago to find a someone. I have sacrificed a lot for this.

I am pulled out of my thoughts harshly by a bang in the trapdoor under the mat. Still recovering from the jump scare, I open it. Noodle climbs out looking more vivid than ever.

"What have you been up to, little girl? You look like sunshine" I ask, loving to see my sister from heart.

"You will not believe it Y/N. There's a new guy in the laundry and he's amazing. He can make hope flavoured chocolate and he has this magic things and he crated a machine to wash stuff and he is funny and he has promised me chocolate for a lifetime and he is going to help get us out and-"

"Woah woah kid, calm down..." I laugh.

Noodle is completely energetic, I have never seen her like this.

"...You are talking about Willy Wonka, huh? I met him earlier too, saw his flying chocolate and all that stuff"

"Oh, he's amazing Y/N. You should sell chocolate with us, you can keep a part of the money and maybe use it to find them."

She gives me the puppy face. Thinking about it, not of a bad idea actually. If I doubt will help in my search but a little money would come handy since I have to give mine up.

"Deal. I will talk to Mr. Wonka tomorrow after we break him out of that place."

I shake hands with Noodle and help her get back down on the trapdoor.

"Ah, wait. Take this, it's kind of a promise for you that we'll get you out. Goodnight Oodle" I say, handing her the golden pin with the W on it.
