I didn't plan on actually falling asleep, but I did it anyways. Just to be woken up by a metal on metal sound. I went to lift my head when Willy gently pushed it down again, motioning for me to be quiet. There isn't a little orange man, is there?

I looked at the window the best I could to see a miniature grappling hook  fired up to the ledge. A tiny figure, no more than eighteen inches high, shimmies up, silhouetted in the moonlight. It slips through the bars, scans the room, and spots us. It lifts an eyebrow. For a moment I think it saw my eyes open.

Am I dreaming right now? Willy grip on my hand tightens a bit. And I swear I heard that...thing chuckle.

Then it creeps over to the jar of chocolates, still keeping to the shadows.

CLICK! He steps on a floorboard which activates a switch. Suddenly the floorboard twangs upward and the tiny figure is thrown across the room and into a funnel which deposits him in a jar -- which closes as he lands, trapping him.

Willy sits up, delighted. I follow his actions looking in disbelief at the figure.

"Gotcha!" He says.

"What the devil? Let me out of here! I demand to be released!" The little man complains from inside the jar. Willy gets up, holding my hand and leads us closer to the creature.

"Incredible! It can speak!"

Why is he acting like this is normal?

"Well of course I can speak. Now let me out of here or I shall shriek." The figure keeps rambling.

"Not 'til I take a good look at you." Willy lifts the jar onto his desk and switches on the light, revealing a small man with bright orange skin and green hair.

"So there really is a little orange man uh?" I am still trying to believe in my own eyes.

"Good evening." He lowers his head to me in a gentle manner.

"You're the funny little man who's been following me." Willy states, he looks completely lost in thoughts.

"Funny little man?! How dare you! I'll have you know I'm a perfectly respectable size for an Oompa Loompa." The Oompa Loompa puffs out his chest indignantly.

 "An Oompa what now?"

"In fact in Loompaland, I'm regarded as something of a whopper. They call me Lofty. So I'll thank you not to keep gawping at me like something unpleasant you found in your handkerchief. I find it uncomfortable and frankly rude." The little- I mean, Lofty says loudly to Willy.

I laugh a bit, he's kinda funny.

"If you'll excuse me, lady, I prefer you don't laugh at me" He turns to me, madly.

"Sorry."

"Now let me out of here. You have no right to go around embottling innocent strangers."

I feel Willy swift by my side, letting out and indagated breath.

"Innocent? Hold on. You've been stealing from me for years!"

"Well you started it!" I watch the interaction closely, this is too much for my head.

"Me?"

"You stole our cocoa beans!"

"What are you talking about?"

"Do you mean to say you don't even remember?!"

"Remember what?!"

"The day you destroyed my life." Oh, things are heating up.
