It was a good thing that my house was right beside the school because I needed to get there before my mom did. When I got home, I ran straight to the bathroom, feeling a wave of uneasiness throughout my body. The emotional turbulence I had experienced at school seemed to intensify as I stepped into the familiar space.

As I locked the bathroom door behind me, my eyes darkened once again, overwhelmed by the anger of feeling like I wouldn't be able to control my newfound powers. The frustration bubbled within me, a tempest of emotions seeking an outlet.

Unable to contain it any longer, I let out a primal scream, a release of pent-up energy that echoed through the walls. The sound reverberated, carrying the weight of my struggles and uncertainties. In the midst of this emotional outburst, I felt a surge of power coursing through me, an unexpected manifestation of the turmoil within.

The bathroom mirror, a reflection of my fractured emotions, couldn't withstand the intensity of the moment. A loud shatter echoed as the glass broke, leaving scattered fragments on the tiled floor. I stared at the broken reflection, a visual representation of the chaos that resided within.

I gasped at the now broken mirror, and a chill ran down my spine as I noticed purple veins starting to dance up my arm.

"Are you okay?" Victoria asked, concern etched across her face as she tried to open the locked door.

"Yes, I'm fine!" I lied, hastily unlocking the door and swinging it open for Victoria to enter.

She stepped in and gasped at the chaotic scene I had caused, her hands instinctively finding their place on my shoulders.

"Crystal, calm down!" Victoria urged, her surprise evident in her expression.

As I began to regain composure, Victoria took a step back, gently rolling up my sleeves. Her eyes widened as she gasped, witnessing the intricate dance of purple veins underneath my skin.

"I've never seen anything like this before," Victoria murmured, her voice a mix of awe and concern. "It's like your emotions are painting a picture beneath your skin."

I nodded, feeling a strange blend of fascination and unease at the sight. The pulsating veins seemed to respond to the ebb and flow of my feelings, a visual manifestation of the internal storm.

"We'll figure this out together," Victoria reassured, her hands still on my shoulders. "Understanding your powers is a journey, and we're just getting started."
