She's nothing.

Kayla pushes open the door, and disappears into the crowd of people. I turn to grab her arm but she had already gone. I decided to not even bother looking for her... The music was blaring, hurting my ears to the point I thought they were gonna burst. It was a small nightclub too, only had a bar, dance floor and stage, so there wasn't much space for all these people.

I shuffle my way over to the bar, and sit on one of the ancient stools that feel like they might break if I sit on it wrong. I tap on the desk to get the bartenders attention, and he comes over to me, raising his eyebrows.

"Vodka Cranberry, please." I say, shouting over the loud music and cheering crowd. He nods, and I fumble at my purse before putting the money on the desk. He comes back a few minutes later with my drink, and disappears to serve someone else. I take a sharp drink of my vodka, the taste hitting me immediately. I scrunch my face a bit, before shaking my head and putting the drink back down. Maybe I can just drink my way through tonight. Why was I even here? Oh right, Kayla forced me. The Kayla who isn't even with me right now.

I turn around, leaning on the bar desk, and look in the crowd for any sign of Kayla. I don't see Kayla, but I do see someone I'd much rather not see... Tom. Oh, and Hailey. Kayla wasn't wrong when she said he clinged to him like a magnet, either. Right now Hailey was holding her drink in her hand, her tongue out, and grinding against him whilst he holds onto her waist. She needs to learn that Tom's probably just horny, not in love.

Hailey was wearing a leopard print halter neck dress, with a gap so you could see most of her tits. Of course, it was short as hell too. Tom was wearing the white shirt he went and picked up earlier, some black trousers and then a golden chain necklace. Hailey was obviously very drunk, you could see it in the way she moved and talked.

I gag, not wanting to look at them any longer. Someone scared me as I turn back around, sitting on the stool next to mine and smiling that warm, familiar smile. Bill.

"Hey Aurora!! Sick party right?" Bill grins, placing his drink on the counter. It's obvious he's drunk too, he was slurring his words a little and his eyelids were drooping.

"Uh... you could say that." I shrug, not wanting to agree or disagree. "Are you drunk?" I laugh, in disbelief that Bill's the type of person to get drunk at a party.

"Psh, no!!" Bill slurred, scoffing. It was painfully obvious that he was lying. I nod sarcastically, before he smiles at me once more before tumbling off the stool and disappearing into the crowd. I sip my vodka, finishing it, and calling the bartender to get another.

I order a few more, getting more drunk each time but not really knowing what else to do. You think I'm gonna go dance? Yeah, I don't think so. Eventually, the music and the noise of the club became too much for me and my now foggy mind, and I began to get quite nauseous.

"I'm gonna go... take a minute outside." I mumble to absolutely no one, pondering my way through the crowd to the doors.

The cold wind kind of wakes me up a bit, and I instantly feel relieved to be away from the club. I start waking over to the front steps, and I feel like I'm gonna throw up again once I see who's sitting there. Tom. Smoking a cigarette and staring into the road. Fuck. Why's he always where I am?! I roll my eyes, going to turn back into the nightclub, not wanting to talk to him again. However, when I see the buzzing lights and music of the nightclub, I contradict my decision. I give a big sigh, before turning around the corner.

I feel Toms eyes on me, watching me walk over and sit down like he's waiting for me to say anything. I distance myself from him, making it look like I want nothing to do with him.

"Look, it's little miss unlocked door." He smirks. Of course he fucking brings that up, whilst I secretly prayed he had forgot. A shiver of regret goes down me, I should have just gone back to my dorm instead of sitting down here. I decide to ignore him, looking out onto the busy street. There's an awkward silence hum between us - but I like it that way.
