"Listen up, kids."

A tall brunette paces left and right in the gymnasium with an audience of sitting high schoolers. They have bored expressions plastered across their faces, with the exception of a few athletes.

"Y'all might have been under the impression thus far that physical education isn't as important as other subjects," the woman states. "But now that you're in my class, I need to make one thing clear..."

She plants her feet solid on the floor and places her hands on her hips with a determined smile. "...that impression is dead wrong."

You tilt your body towards Tighnari, unfolding your crossed legs as the teacher continues her rant.

"My mom said I have to join a club," you whisper.

He shrugs. "Probably for the best."

"You know what I'm asking, right?"

"Don't worry, y/n, I'll join with you."

You exhale in relief. "...Thanks."

"Which club are you thinking of joining?" Tighnari asks.

You look at the ground. "Um, I don't know..."

"You're very decisive. Maybe the art club? I'm the leader. Oh!" He comes to a sudden realization. "You should join the music club."

You give him a seriously? look.

"I'm serious!" Tighnari rocks back and forth. "You might come across a certain someone..." He uses his sing-song voice when he says the last two words to insinuate something. But you already knew what he was talking about.

"I'm not going to join a club just for one—"

"You there!" The brunette points at you, her feet and arms once again forming a confident stance. "What did I just say?"

Not again...are you kidding me?

"Uh—"

"Yes, we'll make sure to participate in class, Ms. Beidou," Tighnari says, coming to your defense.

The teacher looks at him for a few seconds before stooping over in laughter.

"I can see you two are good friends," she finally says, her voice echoing in the predominantly empty gymnasium. She then turns to the rest of the class. "If you're going to survive in life, I suggest you find a crew of your own..."

Beidou smiles. "...They'll have your back."

Stepping out of the locker room, you look around for Tighnari. You finally spot him near the bleachers chatting with another student.

It's Cyno.

Oh...

They look so cute together, it's probably best not to bother them.

You silently exit the gymnasium and make your way to room 206 for the last period of the day.

When you enter the classroom, you see that it's quite plain; the only decorations being a potted plant in the corner and a rather realistic set of blueprints pinned to the wall. The rest of the classroom is just student desks organized in neat rows and columns.
