Hey everyone, Tomas here! It's been a long year, my job hunts have been tiring, and with it, I get a lot of free time. As an avid fan of the JP franchise since my childhood playing with dinosaur figurines in the grassy front yard of our condo, the idea for me to come up with this story came from my time in California and after drawing up a few concepts of the precocious yet hapless protagonist a couple of times, I figured, why the hell not? A while back, I discovered an alternate version of the Bowman incident that kickstarted the events of the second installment in the franchise. [NOTE: This story's version of Cathy Bowman is NOT the one played by an 11-year-old Camilla Belle from the 1997 film, but from the Topps comic book canon adaptation as shown below ⬇)

And since it was unsettling to think of a little girl being repeatedly clawed and bitten by a swarm of hungry Compsognathus after being fed a piece of roast beef before she was hospitalized (unlike Dieter Stark who got the gruesome short end of the stick), it occurred to me that Cathy here deserves something better. So, in my near infinite imagination, I've been brewing a quick tale on how this occurrence can be avoided and perhaps remixed to a more adventurous tone. Using my experiences hiking the vast mountains in my second home back in California during my year and a half away tenure as well as my nature treks in the nearby state parks here in Florida, I intend to utilize my surroundings to mold the POV through Cathy's lens. I intend to make this up as I progress, just like with all my other Wattpad stories. All this seems like practice to me if I plan to cultivate my newfound writing talent. A reminder, I'm no expert, just a base-level fledgling. Here goes everything, readers!
