Aro's POV
I watched as the figure slowly came into view. She rushed towards us, we'll mainly towards me, with big eyes full of fear and confusion.
"Aro!" she screamed.
"Rosalyn dear...we thought you were dead!" I exclaimed.
Her eyes suddenly flashed towards the little girl on my lap.
"Is that...Briar?" she whispered.
I nodded and slowly let the little girl scurry towards her mother.
"A-are you my mommy?" she asked innocently.
Rosalyn slowly nodded and bent down towards her daughter.
"Hello sweetie. I am your mom. I'm so sorry to keep you waiting for so long." she said.
"That's okay! Demetri was so nice to me! He even made me a toy!" she giggled, showing her the doll.
She glanced up at Demetri gratefully, him nodding back in return. Suddenly, the doors creaked open, showing the face we haven't seen for so long.
