"Are we almost there?" Sunoo asked, howling.

"Almost" Sooji replied.

The wizard took one last uneasy step before he let out a sigh of relief. "And we've arrived"

The curious 5 boys behind him peeked over his shoulder to see the palace.

"Woah, it looks taller now that we're literally in front of it" HeuningKai muttered.

"Tell me about it....." Jake appeared from out of nowhere, startling the gear-winged boy.

"Come, there's a secret entrance here we can take" Sooji said.

"How do you know about it?" Yeonjun asked.

Sooji chuckled bitterly. "Let's just say.....he was once a good friend of mine. It was a shame though that our friendship had to end so soon" He said.

The boys didn't question it further.

The group snuck behind the walls as the wizard began to randomly press the brick walls.

"Do we need to...."

"Nah, I got it" He smiled when he pressed the hidden button and the secret entrance opened widely. "Careful now, one at a time"

Sooji waited for the last boy to enter befor entering himself and shutting the entrance, making sure no one saw them in the process.

He snapped his fingers as fire ignited from one torch, then another, and another until it lit up all the torches on the wall.

"Woah, now this is something I wanna see" Beomgyu said as he grabbed one of the torches as they walked forward.

The walls were painted like murals, like it was portraying some story.

"Look, there's something written in this painting" Jungwon pointed as they leaned forwards to get a closer look.

"Everyone is not what they seem to be" Sunghoon read.

"See? Even the murals here are giving us a hint" Yeonjun crossed his arms, looking at the elf.

Sooji gave a warning glare.

"But look, there's more" Heeseung said as be ushered Beomgyu to move forward and another painting was spotted.

There was chaos, wolves and other creatures are fighting against humans that neither of them could identify what kind. Then at the middle was a boy with pointy ears that was holding the staff with the gemstone on top of it slowly cracking.

"Although the hero is not who you thought would be" He read as he looked at Beomgyu.

The other must have realized what he was catching up on. "Could it be?"

"Beats me" Heeseung shrugged.

Beomgyu gave a glance at Soobin who must've felt his stare and looked back at him.

"Guys" Niki suddenly silenced the group. "You guys hear that?"

Silence remained among the group before they heard explosions from above them.
