Take Two

CHAPTER 5: 00:00

I suddenly wake up to a flash of light in my eyes, which was followed by a strong thunder. I sit up straight to the sound and look around me. It was very dark. So hard, I had almost forgotten that I was in 'Magic Shop'. I tried to rub my eyes to clear my vision but it was still the same, pitch black.

Another lighting strikes, making me shut my ears and eyes. I cover myself with the blanket as I shiver in fear. There was no one beside me.

All my past and pain comes back to me. The throb in my head gets stronger. All of my thoughts were overlapping so much that I just wanted to cut myself off so that I wouldn't think anymore. I couldn't hear or sense anything anymore. Was I dreaming? Is this a nightmare? I wanna get out. I wanna wake up.

*flick*

The blanket above me is sudden taken off. I try opening my eyes adjusting to the bright light in the room. When I was successfully able to do so, I see the seven boys in front of me. All my senses come back to me. I could hear the patter of the rain. I could feel the soft blanket beneath my hands. I look at Jin who sitting next to me with concerned eyes. A tear rolls down my eyes.

My first instinct was to hug him and so I did. I cried on his shoulder as he slowly patted my back. The boys get closer and join in the hug.

Once I was done, I slowly lift my head up. The boys slowly step back. I see Yoongi standing in a distance and I realised that he hadn't joined in the hug.

'Maybe he doesn't like me' I thought

But the moment Jin and I break from the hug, he walks up to me and holds my arm. He looks deep into my eyes and that's when I realised, his eyes looked moist. He was trying to hold back his tears the entire time.

"Hyung, I'm gonna taken her to my room. I'll sleep on the couch; I don't mind but at least I'd be close if she needs someone." Yoongi says but before Jin could say anything Jung kook holds Yoongi's hand which was holding mine.

"No Hyung. She'll be safe with me and Bam" Jung kook says, dead serious, looking at Yoongi's eyes.

"I think-" Jin was cut off by Jimin speaking

"Says the person who is afraid of microwaves"

"She can stay with me if its ok with her" Namjoon simply says as Jung kook and Jimin glare at each other.

"She'll come with me!" Yoongi suddenly says. And just like that everyone starts bickering. Jin and I being the only ones who were quite so far. Jin, who's head was down the entire time, was probably fuming with anger.

"GGGEEUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN (stop it/ enough)" and I was right. (that Jin was angry)

It became silent all of a sudden and no one spoke. Jin breathed heavily, clenching his teeth, as he glared at Namjoon, Jung kook, Jimin and Yoongi.

"Unfortunately my room is full with me and Yeontan taking all the space. I guess my room is not an option then" Everyone stared at Taehyung, annoyed look in their faces.

I laugh. I actually laugh. I don't really know why I was laughing or why was it so funny to me but I just laughed.

Seeing me laugh, their expressions change to. Hobi and Taehyung join me in laughing, while the rest giggle a little. I laughed so much that my stomach started to hurt and tears fell from my eyes.

"Thank you guys" I manage to say, trying to supress myself from laughing anymore. They smile. I smile too.

Jin looks at the time.

"00:01"

Everybody looks at the clock. There was a sudden look of realisation on their faces. But I was a bit clueless.

"What about it?" I ask.

"Everything bad stops at 11:59, here, in Magic Shop. Once it is 00:00, you'll be happy again." Hobi says

"It's just something that we believe but it's actually a metaphor for, 'Everyone thing will pass when a new day comes', which actually is another metaphor-"

"Namjoon hyung!" Jimin tries to stop Namjoon from explain the philosophy behind it.

"After one song finish another song will play. Life is like a mix genre playlist you know" Jung kook says cheering up the mood.

"My playlist only consists of jazz" Taehyung says seriously.

"That is why you are very easy going" Jimin interrupts Taehyung's seriousness. Taehyung nods as if he was agreeing to Jimin's point.

"Life is not easy. It's never easy. But if gets too hard, remember we'll always be there for you." Jin says sweetly making me feel emotional "And if just the seven of us are not enough then-"

"Our neighbours are really sweet. I can introduce to Yongbok and all"

"And also our brothers Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Kai and Heesung and Jungwon-"

"That's enough Namjoon"

"Ok Jin Hyung"

"I can introduce you to my friend Mingyu and his friends"

"You can come to my studio if you want"

"Omg! Did Yoongi just invite someone to his studio?"

"Shut up Taehyung"

"We can go shopping together! I'm the best when it comes to Fashion"

"And I can teach you how to cook"

"And of course we can recommend some amazing K-drama"

I smile unknowingly. Up until now, it was just me. Even though there were people around me, I felt like someone invisible. But now, finally, I feel alive. But ironically, I am dying as days pass by. I'm I allowed to be this happy?
