"Huh? Party?" The first thing I see when I woke up this morning was a decorated house. It was quite sudden but for some reason, it felt exciting. "But what's the occasion"
"Did you really forget what day tomorrow is?" Hobi asked with a dumbstruck expression.
"9th of July, why?"
"It's Sunday!" Taehyung exclaimed sarcastically, which I didn't realise.
"So?"
"It's your birthday idiot." Jung kook says hitting my head slightly.
"Ouch...But my birthday is on 9th of....."
"Exactly!" the three of them exclaim and realisation struck me. Maybe because no one celebrated my birthday, I never really kept a track of the day. The only time I would remember the date is when people asked me about my birthday date for official purposes.
"So....This party is for my birthday?"
"Of course you idiot!" Tears start rolling from my eyes making the boys panic. "What's wrong?"
"W-What am I... *sob* *sob* What a-am I gonna wear?" The boys sign. Hobi giggles because of my childishness.
But that wasn't the reason I was crying. No one, not even me, myself, cared of any of my birthdays. I don't even remember the last time I celebrated my birthday and one even bothered to remember my birthday. But when, all of sudden, I receive so much love, so much care, it's overwhelming. I couldn't help but let tears flow. These weren't the tears of sadness, these were the tears, that I believe, are a start of a new feeling.
I had found the missing cards and I built a house again. But this time, the house is not made of paper cards, these cards were strong, not even The strongest winds could blow it away. Because this house belonged not only to me but to seven other people who built it together with me.
I look from the corner of my eyes, I see Yoongi standing there, looking at me. I rub my eyes, to clear my vision, but he walks away. It just felt like Yoongi could read right through me. Even if I said 'I was ok', even if I said 'it was fine', he would still know that I'm not okay.
"Don't worry Hyewon-ah! I'll help you choose the best outfit!" Hobi says excitedly.
"I'll tag along!" Jin says entering the conversation. The boys looked at him with a weird expression. When Jin realises that, he bursts out "WAE IMMA (why, you little punk)"
"I'm a little sceptical about that" Jimin says doubtfully.
"Me too" Namjoon adds.
"I think Taehyung hyung could go along. He has a good fashion sense too"
"Wae Imma? You think my fashion sense is bad"
"Hyung let me not remind of the time you made me that butterfly-peter pan-like looking costume... I don't even know what to call it" Everybody laughs. I stand there confused when Taehyung approaches me with his phone in which there was this weird picture of Jung kook in a red-blue-yellow-green costume with a weird looking hat, butterfly wings and weird glasses. I looked at Jin with a 'What the hell is this' expression and he looked a bit embarrassed.
"Ah..ah...Eh...Even I think...uhm..Taehyung should go with Hobi...Yeah..."
"Finally" and the laughter continues with Jin joining us with his world famous windshield laugh.
------------------
The entire house had turned into a complete paradise by the next morning. I woke up to a bunch of gifts and the boys smiling from ear to ear with a birthday cake (which they said Jin baked). After a small on-bed-celebration, Taehyung and Hobi take me to the wardrobe where they had prepared a very beautiful dress for me. It was my dream dress but would I look good in it?
