Maria POV:

After three hours of walking and going into stores, Daisy and I finally arrived at my house so I could pack my bags to move into my Harvard dorm.
- So girls, how was the ride back? asked my mother
- it was great lady lockcage said daisy excitedly, I wish I could say the same....
- that's great darlings. said my mother with a smile on her face before turning to me
- Maria, don't you think you'd better start packing your bag? She said
- Mom, I'm going to pack my bag but Daisy is here at the moment
- but I don't mind helping you pack your bag, said Daisy
- Are you sure?
- yes I do so we can talk more about what happened all the time we didn't see each other, she said with a smile
- ok
After that, Daisy and I went straight to my room to pack my things.
- so....
- What have you been doing all this time? She asked
- you know I finished school,  said goodbye to some friends  and then I put myself on a plane and now I'm here . I said
She listened and made a sad face as if she knew that more things had happened than what I said
- well I think we're going to need a little extra help.
And so she left the room. while I continued packing my things. After a while, Daisy appears in the room with a face like she messed up.
- Maria... she starts and I already know that something is going to happen
- I want to introduce you to someone.... Obviously she wants to introduce someone...
- this is  Billie  Rosa Hawthorne.. my girlfriend.. when I heard that word I just did this
- WHAT????? A scream that even our next-door neighbor heard
- since when? I asked to which she replied
- since two years.. she said, blushing and it was at that moment that her girlfriend started talking
- hello... she said
- Hi, I said, still a little shocked.
- Are you okay? She asked a bit with fear
I remained silent for a while looking at the walls of my room and sometimes at Daisy's eyes without understanding anything of what was happening there but then I responded
- hello, yes everything is fine.. sorry for the awkward moment but this was somewhat unexpected news.. I said with a fake smile on my face
- Oh no problem, she said, I just came here to help with the bags because I knew you needed a little help
- of course.  I said
After that we packed the rest of our things, we went downstairs and while Daisy and Billie were putting the bags  in the car, my mother was saying goodbye to me.
- you know that I'm going to miss you a lot, don't you? She said
- yes mom, I know, I'm going to miss you a lot too. When I said that, my mother grabbed me tightly to give me a hug.
- it's almost time for you to leave
- please have some sense in your head and be careful, please Maria.
she said with a tear flowing from her eye
- I'm going to have mother, you can rest assured and you know that if anything happens to me, Daisy will be there with me, I  said.
- I know
- I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it was already 12:00  and that it was time to go. I gave my mother a big hug, got in the car and we set off for Harvard.
