White Spies

Chapter 6: The Something-something

I went to the dining table in the garden and sat, ate my breakfast and Ely, Veronica, Tom, and Alex followed. I am not really fitted on acting so where am I be?

“This benecustos thing, I’m loving it.” Said Alex, starting a conversation. “I never knew I will be a spy,” he continued with funny looking at the sky. That made all of us laughed.

“Yeah, I think it’s cool, the helping thing, I love it, even though I missed my friends,” added Veronica.

“Living in different world…” said Tom looking at his cupcake.

“Ely, so you’re quiet eh? I think more challenge will come every day we wake up, need to be ready to face those,” Veronica continued with happy face.

“Uhh, yeah. It’s our fate, gonna live on it.” Answered Ely looking at me. I looked away and he do the same.

“This vegetable stink, Buddha, can I have delicious food?” Alex is the comedian, by the way, he’s Buddhist. He offered me his coffee and I drink it, the taste also stinks.

 Silence is around us while finishing our foods. Tom invited us to have a walk on the manor, and the place is really big and has many old trees and flowers all around. It reminds me my school full of green leaves everywhere and students that loiters around our campus. Now, those classmates are my teammates, my school, the mansion, my subject is the trainings, and my teacher is Dr. Tim.

I never felt the feeling of being so close to my fellow teammates, Ely, Veronica, Tom, and Alex, they are simply the best. For the moment, we could be a good family.

“Hell! What’s the surname of Dada? I should write it on my notebook!? Alex suddenly stopped and shouted.

“We don’t know? How do we know?” We answered him as one then we laughed once more. The laugh you’re going to miss when you died.

Tom is on my left side then Veronica, Ely and Alex. I know, it’s hard to act when you’re not comfortable. I should talk to Ely. We stopped to a bench at the middle of the wide garden, and lie down to the green grass while the sun is shining right on us. I know each one of us is thinking about something, when a flash of a blur figure startled me, that was the same figure I saw in my room at our house. It keeps bothering me until we went back to the mansion.

I decided to talk to Ely and went to his room. When I’m about to open the door, Ely is at front presumably that he’s the one to open it.

“Woow! Cindy why are you here? Is there something you want to tell me?” Ely talked fast that he started the conversation I hard to find how.

“Well, yeah, can I come in?” we walked inward his room and I sat on his soft chair. “You know, I’m sorry about the other night, I didn’t mean to do that.”

“Oh, don’t mind that. I’m out of mind that time. We’re friends and I knew you will not do that without reason. I’m handsome and I know that girls love me. Hahahaha! Tell me yes, tell me yes!” He’s back with his proud-to-himself  jokes.

“That’s eeew. I’ll just hang out with myself.” We’re back to normal again and that’s life. Ely is my bestfriend.
