Little problems, tough decisions

Shinso's POV
It's been a week since I last saw Denki. We haven't gone to the cafe in a while. I've been thinking about his schooling. Why did he leave school? Did something happen? If so what happened? I'm so curious but I can't just ask him. I'm not going to go up to him and be like oh hey so you know how you don't go to school anymore why is that did you get bullied or something? Like that's freaking rude so not doing that. Eri knocks on my door. "Hey Eri" I say opening the door. "Hito!! There's a little girl here with blonde hair and green eyes!!" She says excitedly. I look at her confused. Why would there be a little girl here. I walk out to the living room.

Mostly because Eri was pulling me by the arm. I stop. "Is that Izumi? Denki's little sister?" I ask. Eri looks at the girl. "....yeah" she says realizing. "Izumi?" I say. She looks at me. "Hey!! You're that kid that Denki always talks about!!" She says. I smile. 'He talks about me?' I think. "Yeah I guess" I reply. "So why are you here?" I ask. "Oh uh your dad found me wandering the streets and told me I could either go home or come inside so here I am" she says. It's almost like she doesn't want to go home.

Denki's POV
I got a call from Izumi's adoptive parents that she went missing. I told them I would find her. Now I run around the neighborhood looking for her. "Izumi!!" I shout. I go to the rooftops to get a better view. "Izumi!!" I shout again. I start to get a little panicky. I go back to the ground and run around yelling out her name. I end up in a neighborhood that I've only been in once. "Izumi!!" I shout. A door opens and I see a little girl with blonde hair and green eyes. "Denki!" She shouts. She runs up to me.

I pick her up in my arms and hug her tightly as she wraps her arms around my neck. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" I ask worriedly. "No I'm not hurt and I'm okay" she says. I breathe a sigh of relief. "You scared me. When I got that call from your parents I ran everywhere looking for you" I say. "I'm sorry" she says. "I'm just glad you're safe" I reply. "Oh hey Denki!" Shinso says. I smile at him. "Go say hi to your boyfriend " she teases. I open my mouth to speak but then don't and just resort to pouting.

"Come on let's go home" she says. I nod. I hold her hand and wave goodbye to the family. "You can stay at mine tonight" I say. "Yay!" She shouts. I smile at her. We get to my apartment and I put her to sleep in my bed. I call her parents. "Hello?" Her mother says. "Hey Mrs. Saiko it's Denki" I say. "Oh Denki!" She says. "Yeah I found her, she's with me and she's staying the night considering it's so late but tomorrow the four of us need to meet to figure this out because her running away like this can not keep happening, she's barely 10" I say. "I agree let me talk with my husband and we'll figure out a time when the four of us can meet and talk about this" she says.

"Thank you and goodnight Mrs.Saiko" I say. "Good night Denki" she says. I hang up and then go to sleep. The next morning I take Izumi to school and then go to work. "Good morning Angel" I say. "Good morning Denki!!" She says. I smile at her. We get to work. The Aizawa's came in per usual. "Say Denki do you have anywhere to go for Christmas?" Angel asks. "No, but I'll be fine you just enjoy being with your family Angel" I say. She gives me a sad smile and lightly squeezes my arm. "Okay but I'm worried about you Denki" she says. "Will it make you feel better if I agree to let you put me into school?" I ask.

"Yes!" She shouts a little too enthusiastically. "Online classes only though I ain't going into poverty because of...school" I say. "Okay!! I promise you won't regret this!!" She says. Shinso comes up to the counter and leans over to me. I lean in just as much. "So I heard that you don't have anywhere to go for Christmas" he says with a mischievous smile. "That's right" I say with one of my own. "Would you want to come spend Christmas with me and my family?" He asks. "Only if you ask me out" I say. He's a little surprised but recovers quickly. "Okay Denki Kaminari Will you go on a date with me come January?" He asks. I smile a sweet smile.

"I'd love to Hitoshi Shinso" I say. He walks back to his family and they seem happy that I'm coming. "Mr.Pikachu!! You're coming?!! Really?!!" She shouts. I laugh. "Yes really" I say. She jumps around on the balls of her feet. I feel happy. Soon enough my shift is over. "Hey Angel I'm taking my lunch break" I say. "Good!!" She shouts. I roll my eyes and shake my head. Angel is all too aware of my bad habits. The 4 hours or less of sleep, the eating once a week, etc. I go on my lunch break and pick up Izumi from school. We go to her house and sit down with her parents.

"Izumi I need you to tell me what your parents can do better. They are here to help you but it's hard to do that when all you do is run away" I say. She nods. "I don't need anything special just more attention, maybe more involvement in my life or at the very least hug me and tell me you love me every once in a while" she says. Tears start to roll down her cheeks. I wipe them away. She hugs me and I hug her back. Her parents seem shocked. "We're sorry Izumi we didn't realize it affected you this much" her mother says. "Yeah we'll try to be there more for you and be here when you need us" her father says. I nod.

After a while I go to leave. "Thank you Denki" her parents say. "It's no big deal I just want to see my sister happy that's enough for me but the minute she starts dating I'm meeting this person because there will be no toxic relationships in her life" I say. They laugh and I shake their hands. "I'll see you guys around" I say. I leave. I smile to myself. I'm glad she's happy.
