  "Flynn," a young man called. He had blue hair, white skin, a small nose, a round face, and a scar on his left eye.

   "Welcome back, Julius. How was your mission?" A soft voice answered.

  Leaning against a doorframe was a teenager in a black shirt, black pants, and a black hoodie that covered his face.

  Only his lips could be seen.
"Flynn," Julius called.

  The teenager in black replied as he put his hands in his pockets.
"What....did you find?"

   His voice was steady, and a little hoarse. But, it sounded quite fine.

  "Flynn.... you're very popular, and you're known as the Shadowed Light. The people know that you were once a pure-hearted person, but your darkness has taken over your light that's why they call you Shadowed Light," Julius replied.

  Flynn only turned around and left.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In a dark room......
"What else has he done," a deep voice rang through the room.
  "Shadowed Light has killed the young master of the Yakarai family," a low-pitched light voice answered.
  "You mean, Okushita?" The deep voice asked again with a tone of curiosity.
  "Yes. We just received the news today, but it's clear he's done it since a month ago."
  "That's completely impossible."
  "Yes. That's what we all thought. Last month, he didn't move an inch from his room. He locked himself up there."
  "Could it be that he snuck out?"
  "That.... shouldn't be possible. Kilroy and his people have been guarding the gate."
  "What if they didn't see him?"
"There are surveillance cameras around though."
  "Hmph..... How'd you know? Don't you think he can block the surveillance cameras?”
 “ Shit!! Why?! Why did I teach him to do that?"
  "It's not your fault. Anyone would love to help  him."
  "Get him here. Let's see what he has to say."
  "Yes."
~~~~~~~~

  Three minutes later.....

"Black Shadow, why'd you call for me?" Flynn asked.

  "Why don't you guess?" The deep voice said.

"You know how much it irritates me to hear someone telling me to guess something he knows I've no idea about. Stop beating around the bush."

  "Very well. Did you kill Okushita Yakarai?"

  "There is nothing anyone can do about it. If I'd killed him, wouldn't you have known?"

  "What do you mean?"

"What do you mean by asking me what I mean?"

"What?!"

"Every one of you knows that when I kill someone his body goes missing. Didn't you find Okushita's body?"

  "So, who do you think did it?"

  "Ohh.... you're asking me now?"

  "Flynn!!"

"It's Shadowed Light now," he said and walked out of the dark room.

    "He's out of control?!"

~~~~~~~~~~~
    In a dimly lit room.......
Julius stood by a window that was tightly shut and gazed at Flynn. His blue hair fell over his slumped shoulders as he gazed helplessly at Flynn.
   "So,... What ya gonna do?" Julius asked.
  "Isn't it already obvious enough?" Flynn answered.
  "What?!"
"I quit. I no longer want to be an assassin. Julius, I want to live a good life."
  "I'm afraid not. The elder will come after you."
  "So? I can take care of myself."
  "Really?!"
"Of course. I'm the shadowed light."
   "But you can't escape their grips, can you?"
  "Do you think I'm a child? Have you forgotten how old I am?"
  "Don't flatter yourself. You're just fourteen."
  "I lived in the streets though. I think the streets are much better than this damned place. This is child's play.
   Kidnap me then kindle a fire in me? I'll get back to them. Mark my words. My age doesn't matter."
  "But you can't risk it."
  "I wasn't gonna take any risks though."
  "I'm sure you know what's coming. They wouldn't let you go."
  "Then I'll kill another important figure. Just like Okushita."
   "Did you kill Okushita Yakarai?"
  "Did you find his body?"
  "Yes...in the most remote place."
  "Good. Then do you recall finding any of my victims' bodies?"
  "No."
   "Do you still suspect me?"
"No. Not now, not later."
"I appreciate it. But, a word of caution."
"What?"
  "I don't want you sticking to me like an annoying leech, or following me around like a fly."
  "I understand. But, I'm not that clingy."
  "Yes, you are."
  "Fine then." Julius walked out of the room.
  Flynn felt relaxed and decided to go take some fresh air. He wandered around the base for a while and went out.
  The assassins use smell to track down their victims. So, by wandering around the whole base, it'd take some time before they got him.
   He walked out of the base and wandered far off. With no aim in mind, he got to an alleyway.
   The stench of blood lingered in the air. When he looked further, he saw a girl in her early twenties pointing a silencer at a man.
  Flynn couldn't make out what they were saying from afar. Thankfully, he could read lips.
  The girl killed the man and walked up to him.
"Shadowed Light," she called softly.
"What...?" Flynn answered like he'd just recovered from a nightmare.
  " 'Tis an honor to finally meet you. My name is Kaya."
