" 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗜 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗟𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗪𝗔 𝗚𝗢! "

the cold air was plangent, gently swiping her hair as she swayed on the comfortable bed. the two-story house was big enough for just about anything. she could remember running around and being chased by mina's older sister. the good times. the thought made her vision fill with love.

sitting on the comfortable mush, she sat opposite of mina. the brown-haired girl was caught up on the thrill of her phone, eyeing the contents with fasciation. y/n had arrived minutes prior, after dropping tobio off, she escorted his dropsy form up the stairs and watched his slumber become apparent before she was leaving again, heading towards mina's house.

the girl's talked and ate, the food spread on the bed was in a neat pile. the black towel had many blenched stains and rips- but held up nicely for a clean tray. they sat the many items on the covers gently. the plain white rice hovered beside the cups of curry, and the tuna cakes filled the air with delight, an overwhelming sense of relief present from the smells.

" i can't believe he called you out though, that was crazy. " mina said and sipped her curry, her other hand fisting for a spoon. the plastic wrapper made many squeezy sounds before she poked the spoon on her thigh, letting the utensil pop from its holder.

" i know! he clearly did that because of tobio. " she sighed, blinking slowly. " it's fucked up. " using her spoon, she placed some of the plain sticky rice in the styrofoam cup, mixing it into the curry. letting the two foods combine.

taking a bite, she let her body warm from the hot food. " are you going to camila's birthday party? " ugh, here we go again. every day was a new adventure when mina was around. she wasn't against going out, but her studies and extra curriculars came first. she wouldn't jeopardies her future just for a single glimpse of fun

" when is it? " grabbing her phone, she looked at the time and watched as her face card activated, showing the home screen of her device. it was an outdated picture of her grandmother and mom holding her gently, almost like a precious angel. the small grins pestered on their features as they cradled the newborn with warmth. it was a picture she treasured greatly.

" the seventeenth. " the seventeenth. looking at her clock, the date was clear. it was the fifteen. was she going to be busy? she waited before replying, only thinking of any upcoming events.

" i'll try to make it, but you know how my mom gets. " humming, mina looked at her television and clicked the remote, searching for something appeasing. the two girls sat in silence as a random cooking show came on, they ate, relished in soft chatters every once and a while, and got on their phones once finishing.

the girl opened her phone and remembered the picture from the game, she sent it to mina and watched as her phone dinged. the contact name was a silly joke her and mina came up with freshman year. it was simple, they put themselves as their siblings older or younger selves. but after a while the girl changed hers and mina kept the same notion. it was a silly reminder- one she'd never forget the origin too.

" can you give me a better contact name! " she dragged on, grabbing onto the girl's phone in an attempt at changing it. mina only raised her phone higher and chuckled when the restless girl reached further, then gave up after four tries.

they were so comfortable in each other; they could sit in silence and appreciate each other's warmth. it was their thing. showing the girl, a funny video, they fell into a rhythm of showing and gesturing their phones into one another's face. after a while, she hugged mina's back and watched her scroll through social media.
