Fate [Demon Slayer]

Chapter 2

Hey guyyyys!! Another chapter. I don't know if my other chapter actually got published when I published it because it now says that it was published 40 minutes ago. Whatpad doesn't really like me... ANYWAYS ON TO THE STORY!!

Tanjiro's pov:
We walked to the village mainly in silence (other then the rare small talk between me and Kanroji) Iguro was completely silent the whole time which kind of scared me but I'm sure it's normal for him since Kanroji isn't bringing it up.
We were walking for over 3 hours straight but we finally saw the village. It's good we got here because it's getting dark outside and the demons should be out soon.
"We should get something to eat Im starving" Kanroji squealed. I nodded since I was also quite hungry but Iguro didn't look too into that idea.

Obanai's pov:
Of course they want to get something to eat. I will not take off my mask in front of them. Especially Kamado. Mitsuri has never seen my scar because I never eat with anyone around. She knows that so hopefully she won't push me to eat something.
I was snapped out of my thoughts by the lights of a small restaurant. We walked in and sat down. The server came to us to get our drink orders almost immediately.
"Hi, I'm going to be your server today can I get a drink for ya!?" She asked in an annoyingly nice voice.
"I'll get a soda!" Mitsuri told the server. Kamado said he would have a water and ordered apple juice for his sister. The waiter looked at me but I just stared at her so she eventually walked away.
I looked out the window. It was getting darker. These three better hurry or the demon could kill more innocent people.

Mitsuri's pov:
Obanai looked stressed. Maybe it's because it's getting darker out. He's always so serious about his job. It's so cool!!! (Internally cringes while writing Mitsuri simping over everyone)
We get our drinks and order our food. I order quite a few things and Tanjiro orders a couple of things for him and his sister. When the server asked Obanai he didn't answer. He just stared at her until she walked away. The server was kind of cute.
Eventually we get our food and quickly munch it (as it is getting pretty late) and the sun is almost completely gone but we manage to finish before it's completely night time.

Nezuko's pov:
I don't know why we are here with big sister, big brother and the snake guy. Brother forgot to tell me. It's probably because there's a demon here. I can't kill demons but I can be useful when fighting them.
We get up and walk outside. Brother looks at me and motions me to follow him as him and the other two split up. We run around with brother intensely sniffing every few second to find the demon.
"I smell it Nezuko! This way!" He yells at me. We go towards the smell of the demon. Eventually we get to the scene.
We see the snake guy fighting a demon covered in holes from head to toe. His skin has a purple tone and his eyes are orange. They read upper 4. (I know there's already an upper 4 but for the sake of the story this is upper 4)

Obanai's pov (a little earlier):
I run off the opposite way that Kamado went. Only a little bit after I leave I feel the presence of a demon. I keep running faster hoping that it hasn't gotten to any humans yet.
I see it. An ugly demon with holes all over it. I just have to make sure not to get hit with the bullits. I use serpent breathing to slice it but it dodges most of it. So annoying.
I barely saw Kamado and his sister arrive since they went around by my bad eye. Kamado starts doing his sun breathing and his sister intensely kicks the demon.

Mitsuri's pov:
I run as fast as I can. I can hear them fighting in the distance. (Mainly because of Tanjiro's screaming) he's such a protagonist. It's so cute!!
I come to the clearing to see all three of them going against the demon who's definitely holding its own against all three of them. In fact I would say that they are struggling much more then the demon who isn't even using it's blood demon art yet.
I join the fight and as soon as I do it starts using its blood demon art. We all dodge it pretty easily for a while.
Time skip
We were all getting tired and slow but the demon was not even slowing a bit. It was beating all 4 of us. That's so embarrassing!!!
It shoots a few bullits at me. I don't think I can dodge these ones. I see Tanjiro from the back side of the demon. He's about to cut its head off. Just dodge this last attack. I can't. I'm too tired...

Obanai's pov:
I see the demon shoot at Mitsuri. She's not moving. Is she too tired to dodge?? I run towards her and push her out of the way. I feel the bullits lodge into my left arm and lower stomach.
It doesn't hurt that much. It was probably just because I'm in the middle of a battle. But even though it doesn't hurt I can't move for some reason.
"I GOT A HASHIRA!!! NOW I WILL EAT IT AND BECOME EVEN MORE POWERFUL HAHA!!!" I hear the demon yell. It doesn't realize that Kamado was behind him and swiftly beheads him.
I fall to my knees, too weak to stand anymore. Everything goes black until...

Mitsuri's pov:
Obanai pushed me out of the way!!! He got hit with 5 bullits. He freezes in place. Then eventually drops to his knees. Tanjiro rushes over just as he goes unconscious.
"Obanaiii!!!" I scream. I grab him but as soon as I do, everything goes black, until...

Tanjiro's pov:
I rush over. Kanroji yells Iguro's name and rushes over and holds him but then she freezes. She looks like she's staring into space.
"Kanroji! Are you ok?" I ask as I shake her shoulders. But then everything goes black, until...

Nezuko's pov:
I watch the scene unfold and decide that I shouldn't touch them and instead go to get a Kakushi (is that how you spell it?) to help.
