I think it had reached night time. We were still here, my legs hurt so bad from standing up and being in this tight space.
      " okay we're gonna make a run for it" he said

Y/n- my legs are gonna give up any second now
Ethan- What? No okay now

We got out from the closet and thankfully there was no one here. We ran and my legs were shaking, from afar there was a lot of yelling and I remembered my parents.

So I stopped running and looked back, I needed to go back and get them out of there.
     " what are you doing? Hurry up"

He yelled quietly.

Y/n- I need to go back for my parents!

I tried running back but I was pulled back from him, he dragged me out of there.
      " you can't, I'm sorry to say but their dead"

I was believing anything he was saying but yet he was stronger than me so I stood no chance against him. He had put me inside a car and then he got in afterwards.

Y/n- what is your problem?
Ethan- youll be thanking me.
Y/n- so can you explain now to me why this all is happening?

He ignored me by going on his phone, I got annoyed and scoffed. I looked outside the window and held the handle, it wouldn't be that bad of a fall.

Right?..

Ethan- don't even think about it

He saw the way I was holding onto the handle,
     " what if I do huh?"
He shrugged his shoulders, " okay do it then" he said waiting for me to open the door.

And so I did but he Quickly shut the door.
   " okay I didn't actually think you would, you remind me of your mom. Crazy asf"

The rest of the car ride was silent. It felt so long being in this car, I knew I couldn't stay where ever we were going.

I needed to know where my parents were. As much as I wanted to know what was going on they were way more important.

Ethan- do you have the mark?

I didn't want to talk to this guy snymore so I ignored him. I don't understand why my mother wanted me to go with him either. After he pointed a gun at me very trusting.
   " now you're ignoring me? "

The more he talked the less I paid attention to him.
We then finally made it im guessing, it was a house hidden in the woods. It was actually a pretty decent house.

I got out the car and looked around, marking where everything was. For when I would leave this place,
Jump over the fence and down to the left WSS the street.

Ethan- cmon

I followed right behind him. We then entered the house which was even more beautiful in here.
" I can now tell you everything " he said

We sat down on the couches and he began.
" you have a mark on your left shoulder and that symbolizes royal blood, you parents had said you died in a car accident way back and everyone believed them. If that didn't happen you would've got sent up to the mafia royals where who knows what would have happened, that's why your important. I'm keeping you safe. "

Y/n- why you though? Out of everyone why'd I have to go with you?
Ethan- I forgot you don't know the laws here, a girl with royal blood has to go with a high clan boss
Y/n- you were the only one?
Ethan- only one who will actually protect you, the others would take advantage and turn you in. And for your parents their serving time for lying.
Y/n- they aren't dead ?
Ethan- up to that I don't know but don't have high hopes.

I sighed and laid back on the couch. " how'd they find out about me just from one party? I was really curious because I know I came upon him and others.

Ethan- it was someone named Milo, you rejected him to dancing that night. He's after you too but I won't allow it, even though me and your parents were enemies I promised to keep you safe.
Y/n- I already have a life i don't need to make a new one, what am I supposed to become?
Ethan- I know and someone very big and powerful. You and me together, I'm the best chance you have.

Having to talk this all in was very difficult but I felt like I could manage just fine. Not having my parents by my side was one of my struggles, I knew how to be independent but why was this killing me.

It was a cost of surviving, I could just change up who I am but they could've easily know.
    " I need some air " I got up and left the house

Staying by the front and just looking at the moon. It was already night time this was happening so fast. I looked at the mark on my left shoulder and surely it was there.

What if I had it removed? I was coming up with so much but it wasn't easy. Studying in the field of medical but having to randomly stop was painful.

I only knew mafia from like movies but I didn't think I could ever become apart of it. I wasn't afraid just not ready and it was okay. I think he's right and so is my mother I should stay by his side.

Ethan- you do too much thinking.
Y/n- you were at a mental hospital?
    I remembered someone mentioning to him, I wanted to know badly.
Ethan- I don't like talking about it. You don't need to know either way
Y/n- where's your family then?

He came closer next to me and also stared at the moon, he thought about it for a bit I could tell.
   " my father died and my mother is just here suffering quietly, I have an older cousin that's it"

I think he felt a bit bothered talking about his family so I changed the topic right away. Then we went inside and went to sleep. I had trouble falling asleep, the yelling of my mother replayed in my head a lot.

I couldn't stay still without knowing they were okay or not. I got out of the room I was in and into the living room where I screamed so loud being scared from Ethan sitting on the couch.

Y/n- what the hell is your problem?
Ethan- I knew you would try and leave to go find your parents. I know how you think now
Y/n- okay we'll let me be then!

I headed towards the door but he got up and got in my way. Nodding his head referring to ' No ' I rolled my eyes

Y/n- why won't you let me?
Ethan- you haven't even become apart of us and you want to roam the streets?!
Y/n- what do you mean?
Ethan- they can't kill you if you sign that you are apart of us even if signed you could have enemies
Y/n- take me to sign then!
Ethan- look at the time, go back to sleep
