overview: matt and nilena havent got along, they have been arguing recently, you couldnt say they were enemies, but they wernt really friends. they tried to be civil, but it ends up in arguments. theres times were they were nice to eachother, but it never lasted long. ever since they were in junior year of highschool matt started calling nilena, lee, and you best believe he never stopped. nilena moved in with the whole sturniolo family senior year and when the triplets moved to la, ill have you know she went right along. she moved in with them due to her parents divorce and couldnt handle moving to tennessee after her moms crazy ex stalked them. she doesnt talk to her mom or dad anymore because they were pretty toxic. they now are all 20 and the triplets are doing youtube, she doesnt join in on there videos much, but shes proud of them. nilena works at a business office in the city and never been happier, until today when everything just kept going wrong.
as nilena gets home after her awful day, she realizes how gross and soaked she knows she will have to shower because she was in the pooring rain, nilena knock on the locked door shivering and wet, matt opens it looking at her soaked silhouette, wondering why she hasent called him, he immediately engulfed her in a hug seeing that she was crying, just because they were arguing earlier, doesnt mean he doesnt care.
nilena nearly falls with exhaustion but matt helps her up the stairs, she'd been crying because her car broke down and her phone died so she couldnt call anyone but wanted to get home because the car was ice cold from the heater being broken. she decided to walk home in the down pooring rain just to get home and take a nice bath.
matt helps nilena into the bathroom and waits for her to change into a sports bra and nike pro shorts.
she sits on the toilet lid and watch as he turns on the bath. the tub has a ledge were matt sits waiting for her to get in, still no words said between you two. he knows shes tired and has no motivation to speak.
she sits in the tub and leans forward a touch as matt takes down her bun and wets her hair. he swipes it the the side and rests his head on her shoulder knowing she needed the comfort from him after her dreadful day. as he wispers she can feel the warm air on her neck creating goosebumps all over her.
"its ok lee." he says as she closes her eyes and let tears fall down her face. "lee i know you have had a hard day. everyones asleep. its just me and you. i know i havent been the nicest recently, but i care about you." as he wispers into her neck.
she hums her answer to him, "its ok matt, i appreciate you" she wispers as she grabs ahold of his hand thats resting on her other shoulder and carefully leans fully back resting the back of her head on his chest. they sit in comfortable silence for a few minutes
after about 4 minutes of matt washing nilenas hair he simply says something to her as she nods her head to his calm voice.
"ill be right back ok, dont move lee, im serious." he says as he gets up and walks out of the door. she simply sits with her eyes focused on the closed shut door trying to stay away, but her eyes unfocused because shes exausted.
