The next morning, Nathaniel woke up early. Sitting on the bed, he looked around him before going to the bath. As he watched himself in the mirror, he remarked that his hair was getting longer than before.

Nathaniel: "After breakfast, I need to go to Sergio to cut this hair."

After eating, he made his way to Sergio's barbershop, which was just a short walk from his house. As he entered, the familiar sound of buzzing clippers filled the air, and the smell of aftershave lingered.

Sergio: "Ah, Nathan! What's up, dude?"

Nathaniel, in consternation: "Hello, Sergio. Fine, almost."

Sergio, with compassionate eyes: "Tell me, kiddo. I'm here for that."

Nathaniel: "Do you know the news?"

Sergio: "No, tell me."

Nathaniel, with a sad tone: "I... I am going to live in another place with my parents."

After saying that, the little boy dropped a small tear on his face.

Sergio: "Ahh, my little boy, don't cry." He got down and said, "What are you?"

Nathaniel, with a puzzled answer: "I'm a boy, human."

Sergio: "And what do boys do when they have difficulties?"

Nathaniel, thinking: "Hmm, be courageous to face the problem."

Sergio: "And what are you doing now?"

Nathaniel: "Crying."

Sergio: "So what do you need to do now?"

Nathaniel: "Shoot the problem with courage?"

Sergio didn't expect that answer, but he was happy that Nathan knew the answer.

Sergio: "So what shall we do with your hair?"

Nathaniel: "Do as you may please, like always."

After cutting his hair, Sergio remarked that if he didn't really think, he might be mistaken for a girl, but only if he paused his brain. So he gave him a mixed style that just cut the necessary hair without erasing any evidence of his boyishness.

Nathaniel: "I will miss you."

Sergio: "Me too, kiddo, me too."

After the haircut, he walked until he saw an old man whom he had never spoken to but was always sitting in front of his house door to watch people.

Nathaniel pointed to a chair and said: "Mr. Gary, can I sit here?"

Gary nodded without a word.

Nathaniel: "I know that we've never talked, but I want to let you know that on Tuesday, I'll be leaving the town to start a new life." He didn't expect Gary to answer him, but he was happy to let him know, even if they had never talked before.

Gary: "And you're good with that?"

Nathaniel, with a lower tone: "Not really, but one friend told me that courage can face the problem." Even though it was himself who said that.

Gary: "You're right. So I'll give you another piece of advice: take the good and the bad of one situation and choose wisely before committing to something." At this moment, Nathan regretted not speaking with the old man sooner.

After some minutes, Nathan said his final goodbye to the old man and went to the local bakery, where a Spanish couple, Jerry and Camila, lived.

Jerry: "Hola, Nathaniel! What are you doing here? It's not your regular time to buy bread."

Camilla, with a soft voice: "Hello, Nathan."

Nathaniel: "I'm just here to inform you that I won't be buying your delicious, succulent bread tomorrow because I'm going to live in another town."

Jerry and Camilla looked at each other, and after Camilla disappeared into the shed and grabbed 15 newly made loaves of bread, she returned to the reception.

Jerry and Camilla: "So we want to give you and your family this little something in appreciation for all the good you've done for us."

Nathaniel: "Thank you so much."

After that, he headed to Andy's house, took a deep breath, and rang the bell, welcomed by his aunt.

Gabriella: "Good morning, Nath. Enter."

Nathaniel: "Thank you, Aunt Gaby. Can I see Andy, please?"

Gabriella: "Yes, he's in the backyard, but before that, let me put your bread in the kitchen until you exit."

After giving the package to his aunt, he ran to the backyard, where he saw his cousin lying on the ground.

Andy: "Just say yes or no to my following question."

When he heard that, Nathaniel was confused but nodded to him.

Andy: "You will move to another town tomorrow?"

Nathaniel nodded to confirm his statement. Andy got up and said, "Okay, let's play a game. If one of us wins, he'll be the king."

Nathaniel: "What is it?"

Andy: "You know."

After 1 hour of analyzing and escaping from each other, Nathaniel won the battle.

Lying on the ground, Nathaniel said, "Tomorrow, I can't go to school as I'll be packing my objects, so I trust you to tell them."

Andy, with a tear: "You remember when we were 5, we almost fell from the tree because you said that if you reached the top, you would see the world?"

Nathaniel: "Yes, I remember that."

Andy: "I will miss you so much."

Nathaniel: "You know, compared to the others, you'll see me."

Andy: "I know, but it still hurts."

Andy: "Goodbye, Nath."

Nathaniel: "Goodbye, Andy.
