A Howling Breakfast

When we got up the Gryffindor Prefect told us that we would have breakfast in the Great Hall where we would also recieve our timetables. After breakfast we should go to our first lesson of the year.
So James, Peter and I went downstairs together but didnt wind up in the hall immediately. Instead we wound up in the Healing Wing.
*BOOM AWESOME LIGHT EFFECTS TELEPORTING TO SCENE*
"Where are we?" I asked James and peter,
"I have no idea" replied James.
"Lo-ook theres an open do-or ma-aybe-e so-ombody there knows the wa-ay" Stammered Peter. Finally a decent suggestion from that fool.
"Dont worry Remus, its just another week until its fully grown." Said a female voice.
"Madam Pomfrey will escort you there when nessecary." This time it was an old mans voice.
"Th-thank you Proffesor and Madam Pomfrey, I appreciate all this trouble you are going through for me." said the familiar voice of that Remus kid.
"Well your appreciation is very much appreciated but it seems we have a few visitors waiting at the door." said the old mans voice again, wait did he say....
"Ugh, we were just urrrrr..." we all stammered as the lady I assumed to be Madam Pomfrey opened the door revealing a huge room with rows of beds on both sides and windows above them, seeping some sunlight throight he creaks.
"Never mind now, but next time please acknowledge us of your presence beforehand." Said Proffesor Dumbledore while looking over his half-moon glasses.
"Ye-es sir, sorry." we said simultaneously
"Why dont I escort you four down to the Great Hall?" Dumbledore said.
"Thank you" we all replied.

"Ugh, if you dont mind me asking..." I said as we went down the spiralling staircases. "what were you talking about in the wing?" James asked curiously.
Remus siddenly look terrified and looked helplessly at Proffessor Dumbledore whi meerly smiled.
"This is what leads to curiousity, being somewhere you are not supposed to be." Dumbledore ended off, smiling.
We took that as a nice way of sayong its none of your buissness, so stay out.

"Ah, here we are, The Great Hall." Said Dumbledore.
The doors opened and the smell of fresh toast and jam wafted to us.
"I shall depart to the Staffs Table whereas you go to your House table, which I am assuming is Gryffindor due to your cloaks?" And with that Dumbledore left for the Staff Table.

As we went over to the Gryffindor Table and sat down, I noticed how Remus was sitting alone which is what he usually is.
"Hey guys, that Remus kid he seems alaright lets call him over." I said to the other two.
"Yeah why not" James said.
"Hey, Remus!" I shouted and about 10 seats down the tattered looking boy looked up. "Why dont you come sit over here?" I asked (not so loud this time).
"Errr, o-ok." He mumbled as he shuffled towards us with his bag.
"You seem really shy, whats up?" James asked
"Just stuff, I'd rather not talk about it." He said firmly.
James and I glanced at each other, we knew it wasnt the end of the topic but we'd save it for later.
"Ok, you play any Quidditch?" I asked.
"No not really" he said much more confidently than before.
"Well what kind of stuff are you into then?" James asked.
"Well" leaning in towards us. " I prefer not to tell anyone, but my dad is an auror and he already taught me some of the basics of Defense Against the Dark Arts and I love it!"
"Awesome" James and I said in awe while that fool Peter just giggled.
Peter was opened his houth to say sometthing but I didn't find out wjat that something was because owls came swooping over our heads dropping mail to students and staff.
James got a letter and a parcel, Peter didnt really get anything, Remus got a newspaper and a letter.
I wasnt really accpeting any letter but then I remembered that howlers existed.
There was one owl out of about twenty carrying a read envelope and I knew it was mine.
"Oh no, i gotta go." I said hastily, grabbing my stuff.
James grabbed my cloak and said "Hey, whats the rush you barely ate."
"Let me go! That howler is for me!" I shouted as James just burst into laughter.
"You're gonna get a howler, I cant WAIT to see this." He said, just like a true friend.
"How do you know its yours?" Remus said.
"Well, I'm a black, the son of MY parents and I'm in Gryffindor." I answered.
"Ah that explains it." Remus replied. Wait he was laughing the shy kid was laughing? Looks like we welcomed him to Hogwarts.
"Hey Sirius, look at that." James said.
The was a red envelope on my toast, just staring at me. I walked cautiously towards it, regretting every step and before I could even open it, it changed into the shape of a mouth! Then, just well.
"SIRIUS ORION ARCTURUS BLACK" shreiked my mothers blood-curdling scream. By now the entire hall had their eyes on me, including the staff. I bowed my head in, not shame for I actually enjoyed this, but in embarresment.
"YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO YOU FAMILY YOU FILTHY BLOOD TRAITOR, HOW DARE YOU BE SORTED INTO GRYFFINDOR, YOU FOOLISH PLEB! IF I WERE THERE RIGHT NOW, YOU WOULDNT BE!" And with that it burnt to a crisp. Now half of the hall had burst into laughter, obviuosly led by James.
"Ugh, summer is NOT gonna be fun." I said. "Anywayyy, what did you guys get?" I asked.

"Awesome, chocolates from my parents, a whole parcel! The letter says Congratulations, son! You got into the house of your forefathers, we were in Gryffindor now so are you. Enjoy Hogwarts and your chocolates and have fun! Love Mum & Dad. Cool, CHOCOLATES FOR GRYFFINDOR CHOCOALATES FOR GRYFFINDOR OVER HERE."
James said as loads of Gryffindors came over.
"Hey Lily, who was sitting a few seats down, dont you or your friend want any?"
"No thank you I dont take charity hmph, c'mon Muna lets go. Look I have charms with you first!" Lily said, walking away with her friend.
Once the Gryffindors left Remus said "I got a letter from my dad and todays copy of The Daily Prophet and nothing interesting has happened." While looking at the paper.
"Yes there has look!" Peter said pointing at the back page. Remus flipped over and almost fell off his seat.
"Where are the Werewolves?" James read out. "The Ministry of Magic has yesterday declared, the acts against werewolves who have been terroising our countries for centuries. They are to be captured and locked into Azkaban, temporarily for safety precautions." James said, copying the words off the paper.
"Well thats certainly interesting." I said.
"I-I gotta g-go" Stammered Remus as he stumbled out of the hall.
"We-eird, ri-ight?" Said Peter.
"Somethings up with him, we are gonna find out." James said.
"Lo-ook, ou-ur timetables." Peter said, pointing at the timetables in front of us.
"Oh yeah" James said, picking his up.
"Double Charms with Ravenclaws first." I said.
"Yeah, lets go n-now." Said Peter.
We left the Hall, heading for our very first lesson of the day and year, no scratch that first lesson at Hogwarts. Awesome. Now we just need to find it.
