Cameras and losses

Youngmi POV

After some, well actually a lot of arguments with all of the residents in the lobby and tasing then loosing a scary gangster guy we boarder up anywhere that monsters can get in and I grow to hate the short old man as I try to get a hold of Youngji with no such luck. I go into the security office to talk with the nerdy guy and I see him finishing up a conversation with the firefighter woman about her going to fix the electricity, the woman walks by and me and him making eye contact causing me to walk over to him.

"Hi, I'm Miley Han. Oh I mean Han Yo" I state before he interrupts me

"Lee Eunhyuck. What do you need Miley?" Eunhyuck looks at the blank screens

"Ah cameras" I state quietly before asking "Was that you and the woman talking about turning the electricity back on?"

"Yes. Hopefully if she's successful we'll be fine" he says in his regular monotone voice

"Once that happens may I watch the cameras? I want to see if it's safe to go up, my younger sister is all alone and even though she can handle herself if it's safe enough I want to go and find her" I stand tall

"You can watch the cameras but I don't want you going up. Once the power is on I plan on calling the in intercoms for anyone to try and make it down to the lobby" he replies

"Thank you. I can watch to see if she comes down" I nod "Until then is there anything I can do? Like punch the short grandpa"

"No, nothing like that" he looks like he wants to laugh but doesn't "if something comes to mind I'll tell you"

"Okay great" I reply "should I let you be Eunhyuck-ssi?"

"Yes for now. Come back in when the power is back on" he nods turning around

"Aye aye captain" I state in English before heading out, walking into my mum. "Mama. Are you okay?"

"What are you doing?" She asks

"Seeing if there was anything I can do to help around. Sitting around while Ji-ah's up their is driving me insane" I answer

"Just stay away from all of this, what if something happens to you?" She scolds me

"Mum. I'm an adult now" I roll my eyes

"I'm still your mother" she scoffs, I scoff back and walk away, trying to see if I can contact Ji again but again just failing. Then I sit alone in a corner trying to keep myself calm and not overthinking what Ji must be going through right now but these scenarios keep plaguing my brain and how scared she must be, the horrors she could be seeing or the worst case scenario that she's either dead or one of those monsters we hear throughout the building. While I'm starting to freak out more I notice someone standing in front of me, causing me to shake my head and stand up to see Eunhyuck.

"Are you okay?" He asks

"Yes. Totally fine" I say with my throat feeling clogged "Do you need me to do something?"

"I found a crate of small water bottles in the office. Can you count how many people we have here and see if it's enough to share out until we can get Kim Seok-hyeon to be on our side" he states

"Is that short grandpa?" I ask

"Yes, he's the one you want to punch" he smirks a little

"Sounds right! I'll go do that" I smile, as I'm about to walk away I stop and turn back "Thank you Eunhyuck"

"It's nothing. You offered to help out" he replies "Oh. And can you get everyone's name, write down"

"List of everyone coming up, the lady with the dog seems to know a lot. I promise I'm not saying that just because of the dog" I nod
