Chapter 1.

Eugh! Why did boys always have to be this annoying! I wish... Oh I don't know.

My brother and dad were siting in the living room when I got home playing Snap.

"Hi Dad!" I said throwing myself into his awaiting arms, "How was work?"

"It was pretty good thanks darling! How was school?" He replied.

"Oh it was good thanks Dad!"

I walked into the kitchen and was greeted with a warm, cakey kind of smell. That meant mum was cooking! Yes!

"Hey Mum!" I said walking to the oven, "That smells delish!"

"Thanks Charlie! It's for dessert tonight!"

"Yum!" I replied happily.

**Knock knock knock**

"Eugh!" Mum groaned, "Who is that?! Charlie can you please get the door?"

I walked to the door and swung it open. It was a man selling hair dye. "Who is it Charlie?" Mum yelled from the kitchen.

"Oh it's just a man." I called back, "I'll be there in a minute!"

I turned back around to face the man.

"The name's Bill." He said gruffly, "Can I interest you in buying some hair dye?"

I had been considering dying my hair for a while now.

"Be right back." I told the man.

I ran into the kitchen. "Mum, can I please buy some hair dye?" I asked her.

"I don't know Charlie." she said, "Aren't you to young to dye your hair?" "Mum!" I groaned, "I'm almost fifteen! Let me dye my hair! Please!!!"

I watched her ave in.

She handed me fifty bucks. "I expect change!!!" she called out.

I ran back to the door and handed the man the money.

"Can I please have dye in blue and purple please?"

"Sure." he replied, handing me the change and the dye. Just be careful how you use it."

And with that warning he was gone.
