Chapter 4

After dinner we went back into the living room to watch TV.

Sadly Harry was still with us.

Dad switched on the TV and flicked through the channels.

He stopped when he reached the News channel.

“Uh! DAD!” I groaned loudly, “Do we have to watch the news?”

“If you don’t want to watch it, go upstairs do something else.” stated, “You aren’t being forced to watch it!”

I got up and walked out of the room. I was halfway up the stairs, when I heard footsteps behind me.

Harry.

“Hey, Charlie! Wait up!” he called running after me.

“Harry, what do you want?” I uttered.

“I don’t wanna watch the news either! Can I come upstairs with you?”

I looked at him warily.

“How do I know you aren’t going to do anything to me?” I asked him.

“I thought you had forgiven me!” he cried, “Look I’m sorry for today. It was all just supposed to be a bit of fun.”

Oh yeah, I still haven’t told you about what he did.

Well, today I was walking to my next class, Maths, and Harry and his friends (Zayn, Alec and Jae) came around the corner and saw me. Harry started to yell at me. Then they all started to chuck rotten apples and bananas at me. It was like they knew I was coming around the corner.

They probably did.

I had stunk for the rest of the day. Only Allie would be seen with me.

And you know why they did it?

We egged Harry’s house.

Probably their form of payback I suppose.

“Charlie?” Harry’s voice shook me out of my thoughts.

“Yeah fine, you can come into my room.” I sighed as he looked at me happily, “But do NOT touch anything.”

Before he went in I quickly ran ahead and checked if anything embarrassing or girly was out of place.

Nup! All good. Oh, Mr Teddy would have to hide for a while.

“Ok, come in Harry!” I called out.

The door was pushed open and Harry strode into my room and plopped himself on my bed.

“Nice room.” he stated, obviously trying to make conversation.

“Ummm, thank-you?” I said, making it sound like a question.

He was silent for a while, just looking around my room.

“Soooo,” he paused, thinking of something to say, “Who do you hang out with at school?”

“Uh well, Allie, Tessa, Ruby and Sophie.” I replied.

They were my best friends. I had known them since Grade 1 but Allie I had known since kindergarten.

We told each other everything.

“Oh yeah, I know them.” Harry said, “Well, you know that Bella chick?”

“Umm, yeah I think she’s in my Maths class.” I replied.

“Yeah, she’s dating Jae.”

That was a shock.

“Oh! Really?” I asked curiously. I didn’t think that anyone would ever date Jae. Yeah he was hot as but he had probably kissed half of the girl population in the school!

“Mhm!” Harry murmured, “It was a surprise to us to!”

I found myself talking to Harry for a long time. When mum finally came up to send him home, it was 10:00!

I felt like I was getting to know the real Harry. Not the fake one at school.

We said goodbye and he said that he would pick me up for school in the morning at 8:00.

Who was this guy and what had he done with Harry?

And why was he being so nice to me?

Heya!

So just a note- Zayn, Alec and Jae are more popular guys in Harry’s group. :)

And, Charlie is the second most popular girl. The only reason Harry is being an idiot is cos she egged his house.

I know it’s a bit confusing but I’m writing as I go so it is really bad! Sorrrrry!

When this book is finished, I will edit it. I just don’t have time at the moment cos I know some of you want me to update?

If you want me to continue with this book, I will.
